just reading with interest your claim from Abbey. I am just starting to try and claim charges for my son. Do you know if I am entitled to claim for an unpaid cheque charge £32, unauthorised overdraft £20 and charges for clearing cheque while being overdrawn £30.00 ?? This site is a bit overwhelming but think I have got the hang of it! Your comments on above would be much appreciated if you know. Thanks. Sheri

I am new today on the site and got a reply back very quickly from someone giving me the advice I require. I have looked at your various pages and feedbacks but unsure if I can claim back from the Nat West Credit card interest on cash purchases. My son stupidly used his credit card to withdraw money and he has incurred heafty charges on this transaction. I see from others I can claim the interest incurred on purchases and overlimit charges it is just the above which I am not sure of. He has therefore been charged two lots of interest charges and overlimit fee every month averaging £50 a month.

My son stupidly used his credit card to withdraw money at link machines that make a charge and I understand unfortunately I cannot claim for the £l.99 fee they make. However can I claim from the Nat West credit card the interest they charge for withdrawing money. They seem to have made two interest payments plus an overlimit charge. i.e. interest on purchases and interest on cash. I also need the link to download the letter to Abbey presumably the spreadsheet is the same. sorry to be so naive. Sheri

I have just registered on this site as was recommended by a friend. I need help in recovering my son's bank and credit card charges. I am afraid I am a bit of a novice on the computer and have been advised to try and get help in writing the right sort of letter. Sheri
