  1. This is on behalf of my wife. After asking for my fees to be returned and hsbc saying no i was pleasantly suprised a week later to be offered £1100 a £300 drop in what i estimated. i duly sent a reply saying i would accept this offer on the 22nd may. I would be credited this in 7 working days to my account. I stipulated that I would only accept in the form of a cheque as 400 would be eaten up by my overdraft.Today I phoned as it has been and they informed me that they dont do cheques(?isnt it a bank) and that is why i have heard nothing from them and that the money would be credited to my acc today but wont show untill tomorrow, i phoned the bank at 5 pm and they said there is nothing on there system for today or tomorrow. Should i Play hell with them or Tell them as they have not stuck to there time scale i am not at liberty to honour my acceptance as full and final. Or other. Any advice anyone please. ( i would rather the 1100 now)

  5. Hi Everyone, couple of questions. A friend sent a template letter off to hali in march on my behalf as she had just completed hers. Had a letter on the 20th march "looking into it will reply no later than 11may". 8th may received "NO we are satisfied charges have been correctly applied & reasonable charge for this service" The hali also sent "details of all charges incurred since acc was opened and as gesture of good will are waving the £5 charge(whooopidooo). The friend who sent the original is now working abroad and i know not where she got the template from or the date she posted it hali . Would it be feesable to use the 'list of 94D charges incurred' printouts given by halifax they read [ branch roll num date amount dr ] and use a 14day court warning template to proceed with my claim.
