I hope im posting this in the right place (sorry if im not!!) but im getting a bit lost looking around this site. Im a bit confused about what interest (if any) to mention in my initial letter. If anyone could help i'd be extremely gratefull. I received all my statements back a few days ago and have spent ages working out - days since offence, 8% interest etc. But now im seeing contractual interest mentioned!! What is contractual interest? Im finding the whole process really confusing but im a poor nurse so ill soldier on. Please help!!! Thanks Bobbie

Hello all, i joined up a couple of weeks ago and this is my post first post. I have found this forum really helpfull. I stumbled across it whilst looking for information on claiming back bank charges, and im glad i did!! Im at the very early stage of asking for a letter stating all charges made to my accounts. Those being Barclays, Nationwide and Barclaycard. Most of the charges i can see on statements however seem to only be for £10 so not sure if ill get these back or not?? Anyway, thanks for all the helpfull info you have provided so far, i'll keep you updated Devonbob:)
