Exactly, there will be a planned maintenance schedule. You are lucky that your PCN as issued prior to the scheduled maintenance which rectified the defects. Luck had nothing to do with it, as for a maintenance schedule i rather doubt that also, on the basis so many pcn's were being written off they had no choice but to TRY and rectify the non compliant markings As i pointed out the defects are far from rectified.

" But we are not talking about one pcn only i can recall 10 pcn's given out on the same road this year alone. Also i pointed out to the council that the markings were non compliant, and still are today, as they made a real hash of the job. Gaps in the line on one side, and the lines don't end correctly still.

Adam thanks, only last week i sent before and after pics, as advised. They recently painted the lines, thinking i had yet to gather my evidence, but luckily i was one step ahead. I guess they were trying to paint over the evidence before i had the chance. Sneeky !! and very underhand. I have made a few other requests in my further plee to add to my case also.

If the line is illegal you have every right to appeal. However remember that this is a discussion forum and views and opinions should be respectful. and not for bitching !
