  1. Hi All, I had been a customer of NTL broadband since 2002 paying £18 per month then in April this year after virgin took over I saw that they had an offer on, 2 for £20 (TV & broadband) so I signed up, the TV was installed and I forgot all about it then on the 9th July Virgin phoned me and said that if I didn’t pay £32 immediately my services would be disconnected, I questioned the bill because I had seen that virgin were taking payments out of my bank by direct debit, what the guy said to me was that when they installed the TV no new direct debit had been set up nor had the current one been increased so I owed them 3 months service = £6, non direct debit charge = £15 and late payment charge = £11. I had not had any bills or anything asking me for the money so I told the guy I wasn’t paying that then I wrote to them straight away to complain, I didn’t get a reply but I did get another letter about 10 days later demanding that I pay up, I sent another letter enclosing a copy of the original to the person that had sent that letter and today I have received a letter from Moorcroft debt recovery demanding £39.54 on behalf of Virgin. I don’t know what to do next because they are just ignoring me?? If anyone can advise that would be great and thanks in advance.
  2. Thanks for the replies, thought that might be the case. What is the address to write to that is most likely to get a result?
  3. Hi all I've sent the first two letter off to Lloyds asking for a refund and they have completely ignored them, the next stage for me is to take them to court, before i do that i was just wondering if anyone had ever chased up a claim by phone and was it settled? If so by who and on what number? Thanks in advance for any info... Jez.
