  1. just a quick update on this. i issued an MCOL claim and 2 days before I was due to issue a summons the dealer sent me a cheque for the full amount plus the court fee. so very happy with the outcome. thanks for the advice above. just goes to to prove that some companies will try anything (even scare tactics) to get around paying money back.
  2. Thanks for the reply. I sent this letter the following day after cancellation: ******************************************** Dear Sir, On Saturday 27th June just before closing time – i telephoned and spoke to Irfan regarding purchasing a Seat Ibiza Ecomotive. I paid a deposit over the phone for £1500. Unfortunately on Monday morning I found out that I was being made redundant. 3. Hi, A week last saturday, after seeing an advert on a SEAT forum, i telephoned a franchised seat dealer in London about purchasing a new car. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible for me to write to the creditors (MBNA and Barclaycard) to ask them politely
  6. Hi there, This is my first post. I was referred here from another site. I hope you can advise me. I will try to be as descriptive as possible. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. In Oct 1999 I took out a £11,240 loan with EGG for a car. On Dec 2001 the account was passed to Moorcroft as I defaulted on my payments. Ever since then I have been making payments (without missing one payment) to Moorcroft. Recently I requested a full statement of accounts from Egg and Moorcorft as I was a little worried about the remaining balance as things just didn't se
