Hi, My claim is with HSBC for £800. I sent the letter asking for my charges back and received a letter offering me £680. I will accept it and persue the rest. They haven't threatened to close my account and the whole procedure although a little time consuming was not as scary as you might think. Good luck:-o Al

Hi guys, Just a quick question - I had an authorised overdraft with HSBC, ams confused at what I can actually claim back. where it says in the letter; " I calculate that you have taken £xxx plus £xxxx which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken. " - Does that mean I can claim back the interest which they have taken for my authorised interest because there does not seem to be any differentiation between these interes charges and ones I had for going over my overdraft limit. Please could someone help? thank you!
