  1. Me again. I didn't read all the posts !!!! Was it taken off because of the bad language? If so it's the same old story, a mindless few ruining it for the many. Brian
  2. Sorry to be a pain, but is there a problem with the chatroom? I've been working away for a couple of days and now cannot access the chatroom
  3. If it were to go to court, what are the charges to start the action?
  4. Thanks Kate, I'll get her to follow it through Brian
  5. My daughter-in-law had a threatening phone call from HSBC today. They were threatening her with court action over her non payment of an overdraft. It was in fact them who put her in that position by paying a largish bill twice. She closed the account because they wouldn't listen to her request to have the money re-imbersed. They're adding £150 per month. Her and my son have sent a letter requesting a return of the charges but to no avail. They have now sent a second letter threatening legal action. Any further help would be appreciated.

  7. No it wasn't. It was just a template letter I got from another site
  8. Hi everyone. I've just joined and lok forward to using the site. I have two questions I need help on. Firstly, are there any template letters to reclaim credit card charges? Secondly, my son sent off aletter to the Woolwich with a £10 cheque asking for his bank statements for the last 6 years. The Woolwich returned the cheque saying it wasn't neccessary and would be in touch. A letter arrived with a brief breadown of charges only and an interest charge total of just over £1500. I believe they are trying to puul the wool over his eyes and the figure should be much higher. Should he send anot
  9. Hi, I've just joined CAG and was wondering if there are special template letters to claim or can I use the ones I've used for bank charges.
