  1. Hello, Any one out there who can advise. I was thinking of start it from calling HBOS first and ask them what options do I have. However, before any action I want to make sure through support of you colleagues that my move is correct and doesn't turn out fatel. Awaiting your response. Regards,
  2. Dear friends, Every now and then I have to seek advice from you champs. Today again I have received a letter from HBOS demanding the arrears of almost £10,000. Background: Back in May 2008 court suspended the repossession and I promised to make repayments regularly. However, could not keep up the promise and missed a couple of month's payments and then restarted again. The bank took me to court and judge took HBOS side and did not grant any relief. I appealed and it was denied too. My case was not that strong because I had such a situation back in 2006 and both judges were not very impressed with my record. The bank demanded half the amount of outstanding arrears. I arranged and paid them and started regular monthly instalments again. Its been one year now and I am uptodate. However today HBOS has demanded all arrears to be paid lumpsum else they will start court proceedings within 7 days. Please advise what options do I have. I cannot pay lumpsum and thats for sure. Can I go to court before HBOS and make a request for the inclusion of arrears in the mortgage amount.? Regards,

  4. ***** ORDER SUSPENDED ******** Deputy District Judge suspended the eviction order on the merits of the case and allowed to resume the monthly payments as usual + £150 on the top. He also accepted £2000 towards the arrears. Rest of the amount will be paid back with the monthly payments as mentioned above. But I will try to reduce it ASAP. Judge also warned me that there is not MUCH room if I fell short again with this agreement THANKS VERY MUCH FOR ALL WHO HELPED ME ESPECIALLY ELL-ENN ! I appreciate, thanks very much again and best regards.

  10. Wonderful ! Ell-enn, I appreciate all this. Though a stupid one, yet it might boost my confidence.... By looking at the merits of the case , what are the chances that the judge will be inclined in vacating the eviction order. Regards
