  1. Thanks lamma I found the website details at: http://www.barnet.gov.uk/index/transport-streets/parking.htm specifically about code 12. It does say that an accompanying notice will be provided for the lower charge rates (visting a resident). Im not sure if they can post this to me after issue of the PCN to make the ticket valid? I was under the impression that all information must be presented on the PCN itself or on the back, or on a attached noticed issued at the same time?
  2. Hi everyone, Could do with some advice…. I parked in a residents bay / pay+display shared use bay in Barnet (London Borough) on a Saturday when the pay+display was suspended and the bay was 100% residents parking only. I got a PCN from LB Barnet for code 12: parked in residents or shared use parking place or zone without clearly displaying either a permit or voucher or pay and display ticket issued for that place. The PCN shows the charge at £100 or £50 prompt payment discount within 14 days. I know that code 12 is under differential parking and the PCN should be £60 or £30 prompt payment discount if I can prove I was visiting a resident. However, there is no mention of this on the PCN, nor is there any accompanying notice. With that would the PCN be void because of the incorrect amount shown or because there is no mention of the lower charge? I ask because there have been cases where a PCN may be void if a car’s colour/make/reg is incorrectly entered or if the wrong parking offence is stated. Would this also fall into this? Thanks for all your help.
