  1. We do have a statement of costs that were supposed to be incurred but it also states that there was a payment when my husband had left the property so it is obviously made up.
  2. Hi thanks for that as far as we are concerned the house was sold at a rock bottom price as it was valued at almost £40,000 and sold for £12,000. We have had some sort of breakdown sent to us but not the information that we asked for and not a detailed breakdown.
  3. please please is there anyone that can give us some advice on what to do now?
  4. Hi everyone, today recieved letter from Halifax giving us 2 options to either pay £9000 as 1 off payment or pay £100 per month until £11,500 is paid otherwise court action will be taken. Can anyone advise on what to do now?
  5. thanks for your advice, I know that what they sent me is not the credit agreement cos we've been going through old papers and have found the original credit agreement so I presume that they haven't got a leg to stand on. We had the letter that says failure to contact will result in court action being taken without further notice the other day, but to be honest from what you say I am not bothered now. I have never had any statements when I was paying so they cannot even prove what I am supposed to owe. Now and again I have had letters that said they had a special offer if I paid in full they would accept half of the amount owed and the last one like this I had was a couple of weeks ago when they said for a limited period they offered me to pay three quarters of the debt owed in full. I don't know how they think I can get that sort of money when I cannot afford the monthly payments they must think I can grow money somehow. I wish!!!!!!!!!!
  6. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE??????? I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET A RESPONSE NOW FOR AGES PLEASE COULD YOU HELP ME? SOMEONE? ANYONE?????????????????????????????????????????????
  7. Hi sorry to hi-jack thread but I have forgotten how to start thread of my own. I have had letter of equidebt-re-old co op loan of intended court action. I asked them for a copy of the cca last year and all that turned up was a copy of the application form that my husband filled in for him to have a coop visa delta card in joint names. Does anyone have any advice on what to do now please?
  8. Hi just a quick update as to the equidebt situation. We have been recieving letters every couple of weeks since the new year.
