Hi Slick, Thankyou for replying, this site has been invaluable for support and information. Was hoping yourself or someone could further clarify..... I had SAR'd them prior to recieving the statements, which on closer inspection does include the past 6(not 5, sorry!) years and some apparently from microfilm as 'a goodwill gesture' however the letter states that these statements are all the information they hold. Does this mean i cant request and claim from statements beyond 6 years? Thankyou, All help is really appreciated Jo

Hya:) I have just received my statements from Barclaycard, fairly promptly, however the accompanying letter states that they have only enclosed the last 5 years as the rest is held on microfiche, and so this is all they have available to send to me. Most of my charges occurred 6-7 years ago. Do I have the right to access statements from that long ago? If so is there a template reply i can use anywhere, and should i wait and claim together or begin a claim for the statements i have.....or should i just accept that it was a long time ago and they really dont have access to the info any more? I have read so many threads trying to find out i am going dizzy! Any help very much appreciated

Hya:smile: I have managed to work my way through a claim for bank charges form HSBC. (so far pretty standard, am just completing MCOL claim stage ), but have not posted on a forum yet. Having waited 60 days for my Halifax Visa statements, following a telephone call and a 7 day 'warning' letter, they have finally arrived, hurray! and i just wondered if anyone might be able to help with a few queries? Is it still the case with credit card claims that I dont claim interest until court stage? Is this still the standard 8%? Should I be claiming for the recent decreased £12 charge? Is the only difference in a credit card claim the spreadsheet and template letters used? Any help/advice very much appreciated. This site has been invaluable in working through my claims so far, so Thankyou:p

Hi Sidder, I too sent a 7 day warning letter after my data request had expired by 44 days. After recieving a 'we are now compiling your statements' letter from the Halifax, I received them in the post today, some 60 days from original request. Hopefully you will recieve your soon. Good Luck.
