  1. OK I didn't get LBA sent on the 31st May after all because my print server was being stupid and not printing documents properly so it took me all day yesterday to fix that and eventually could print my letters/docs out. Got sent yesterday and for my personal ref: DH839767427GB Unfortunately my husband accidentally sent it 2nd class. I sell on ebay and my parcels all go 2nd class so he forgot to mention that and the people behind counter assumed the letters go 2nd too - Pah!! So should be Monday before they receive! The funny thing is I got a letter from NatWest TODAY I'll copy out below what it says...
  2. Pre-lim letter was sent yesterday. My husband accidentally sent it 2nd class so I estimate arrival on Monday next week. For my ref: DH839767400GB [EDIT] Forgot to mention that my claim comes up to £1,407.50 from Sept 01 - May 07.
  3. List of charges arrived today. They haven't sent no statements just a print off of charges from the internet. Should I be asking for the statements too?
  4. Hi all, Can you advise me on the addres to send the prelim letter and LBA? I received a charges list today. They just sent me a list of charges over the past 6 years, no statements. I sent the S.A.R to the following address but looks like I can't send Prelim and LBA to that address. Mr Chris Brown Lloyds TSB Copy Statement Unit Account Services Group Operations Swallow House 10 Swallow Street Birmingham B1 2AL Thanks Lisa
  5. The spreadsheets don't seem to be working today "Page cannot be displayed" can't download them by right clicking and save target as either. Don't suppose someone can send me one as I need to work out my charges for LTSB.
  6. Well 14 days have passed (Tuesday just gone) and no sign of any letters or anything from NatWest at all. *shakes head* LBA will be going out to them today
  7. It's a computer generated reply sent by Tiscali. Tiscali header and footer on letter including address etc. It has a big red "REMINDER" on it, even though this is the first correspondence I received from them!! I also forgot to mention that I complained to them when I had their service and a lady replied via email stating that they had credited my account with £20. They hadn't and if this had been the case I wouldn't owe them anything that month. If they were going to refund me for their poor service as they stated I should also be in credit and they owe me money, not me owing them! Shall I shoot a letter off saying that? Anything I can quote from the law in this matter? Sorry for my delay in responding, I hadn't subscribed to my thread *blush*
  8. Not yet. Neither has NatWest, but I have their statements thoguh *shrug*
  9. Just wondering if anyone here sent another letter after so long just reminding them about the S.A.R and days left etc? Not heard anything at all from them and I know time is not up but thought a gentle reminder in the post might push them a little
  10. Oh and before I foget I used the library template from the pre-lim letter and edited it slightly. I'll post the edited part below... What I require I calculate that you have taken £2,245.14 which you have charged me in fees alone. I may pursue for additional interest taken from me as a result of your penalty fees causing me to go over my overdraft limit. I enclose a schedule of the charges which I am claiming with this letter.
  11. It certainly is Parkvale My letter has been delivered today! *gasp* So they have 14 days from today, this makes it the 29th May. then LBA goes out whether or not I receive a reply. Well unless they send me a cheque in full before then, but I highly doubt that!!!
  12. Just an update to say that pre-lim letter has been sent today 1st class mail. They should get tomorrow hopefully *bites nails* Hopefully *crossing fingers* this claim will settle fast. I really hope so because I can't be arsed for hassle. But on the other hand, if they cause hassle and refuse, I will fight for my money back. Robbing gits took our money when we were at our lowest and now it's time we got it back. For my reference: Tracking number is DH839767325GB
  13. Thanks Hedgey Just finished my pre-lim letter and it's ready to go Monday. I'm quite excited about this now Just spent the evening scanning and highlighting the statements that have charges on them ready for their defence (if it goes that far!) I'll provide all the evidence needed and these thieving gits won't get away with my dosh Couldn't get the spread sheet to print though so had to put it on a webpage and PDF it from there, good enough for me. Woo.. Monday!
  14. hehe sounds good. I'm debating whether I want them to ignore me or not, just to get that 8% I think I'll be going on a nice holiday in Greece when that nice cheque hits my door mat
  15. Sounds like your almost there, Rob! Good luck
  16. Good luck with your claim, Jenny! Whether it be £2 - £2k, it's still your hard earned money and you deserve it back
  17. hehe I love your attitude on them ignoring you. A nice delish 8% extra *licks lips* Go get em!!
  18. Thanks Hedgey Ahh well. I've added it on to the fees I've worked out from past 6 years. If it don't get paid back to me I won't loose any sleep over it
  19. OK remaining statements received today and calculated all penalty charges totals £2,235.14! Much more than I imagined actually. Pre-lim letter will go out on Monday recorded delivery. Going to scan all statements that have charges upon them and highlight charges and make copies for my records. I assume for this amount they're going to ride it out to the court stage. Any help on the courts would be appreciated as I have literally NO idea what I'm doing *blush*
  20. Got remaining statements and got weird A/C charge of just £2.14 and directly above it is an interest charge, so it's not additional interest. It says "charge" on the left also and all interest charges say "interest" Wondering what it is?
  21. Hi all, Up until April 8th I was on Tiscali for my telephone and Broadband service. To cut a very long story short.... I signed up Tiscali Sept last year with a 1 year contract. Broadband speeds were poor (lower than dial up speeds a lot of the time) and disconnected off the internet every 2-5 mins (yes, no joke!) I was constantly on the phone with their tech support. Most of the time they told me they was sending 8meg down the line and everything was fine. Eventually filed a fault. Never fixed it in the few months. Promised me my money back when it gets fixed for payment of services. I finally gave up and decided I did not want to be with this company even if they could get it fixed and demanded that I leave, which was granted since they hadn't fixed the problems within their ToS agreement time. Heard nothing ever since. Today get a letter through the post with a red huge font REMINDER Apparantly I owe them £13.62. Do I shoot them a letter to their address on the letter I received? Thanks, Lisa
  22. Wow I'm honestly shocked at the amount you have been paying and the complete neglect. I left BG quite some time ago due to the crap inaccurate bills also. Although, mine aren't as half bad as yours. Anyway, I'm in a 3 bedroom house with 3 kids and a hubby. I'm disabled so in 99% of the time. We love our TV and have 2 laptops which are on morning - night. 3 kids = a lot of washing too. After all that taken into consideration my electric bill is £30 a month throughout the year. I find the people at British Gas rude and unhelpful. Especially rude if you cant afford your bill one month. Thankfully I don't go through that anymore Good luck with your claim.
  23. Hello sweetie. I'm so glad your here and claiming back also. We'll probably be going through it at the same time also I've heard that you can claim back more than 6 years now also so you could claim from the start for Ant, since he's been such a bad boy Good luck lady!
