  2. All the best and many thanks for all your help to people. I hope things work out for you.
  3. I have applied twice for judgements. The site would not let me apply and get the judgement until the time limit was up so just click the link and see what it says.
  4. I'm really interested in this and will be watching this thread closely as I was also hit by early redemption charges by Abbey. Good luck surreyscouse and let us know how you get on. May start the request for breakdown of charges myself as it may take a few weeks to get going !
  5. You can only claim back 6 years so if you closed your accounts more than 6 years ago then the answer would be no.
  6. My claim against NatWest Credit Card went in my favour. Judgement received but haven't heard anything since. I'm waiting until tomorrow to see if I hear from them and will then be emailing on Monday threatening to obtain a warrant if I don't get the money by the end of the week.
  7. If it gets to the stage where you have to take the claim to the moneyclaim website I would put all three lots of charges together- less hassle that way. The only thing you have to be careful of is to make sure the total does not go above £5000.
  8. Thinking of you. Hope you get some good news soon.
  9. I would keep to your timetable if you are sure of all your charges. I would also add the charges you have recently had applied to your claim when filling in the court form. Don't be nervous although it may get to the point when you have to fill in the court claim. Good luck !
  10. Yes I did - couldn't put it better and summed up pretty much what the letter said. I also thought if I phrased it the same way people would get the message what had happened ! Do I have to contact the court to let them know the claim is finished?
  11. I filed the claim - see litigation section. I have today received a letter with news that I have to agree to keep confidential. I can't therefore disclose the details as the matter is now ended. I am very happy. It does pay to perserve. Please bear this in mind when playing the games. You must keep to your timescales, keep focussed and be prepared to go to court. A big big thank you to the Consumer Action Group. Good luck to everyone else and I am now off to sort out my Marbles and Natwest credit card charges !- Just awaiting statements
  12. Thanks just one more question I hope ! Do I put the total amount in the box (including charges, interests and costs) or just the total charges amount claimed ?
  13. I have gone through the sending of letters etc and am now at the stage of starting my claim at the small claims court. What address do I need to use when giving the details of HSBC ? Would it be the head office ? Will keep everyone up to date as to how it all goes. Edit: I have decided to use my local branch address. However- another question- what do I put as the claim amount ? Is it the total claim amount plus interest and costs or just the charges? Many thanks Phil
