  1. Thanks both so much for these links. I'll have a read this afternoon and then post a thread in the Lloyds section about my claim. I'm not on benefits so will need to pay the fees, but I'm guessing I can just do this on the day at the court? Off to make a cuppa and then sit and read through. Thanks again for the helpful replies, it's very much appreciated. Kitty
  2. Thanks Lula.....So I should try and do it today via Moneyclaim? I didn't know what to do for the best, but if others are still filing theirs then I should get on with mine? Thanks again Kitty
  3. Hi, I've been trying to get my paperwork together for one of my accounts and just wondering if I should file a claim today or just wait now until the test case is underway? Will it make any difference filing before it starts? or should I wait now for the case and see what recommendations are made? Thanks in advance KittyB
  4. Shameless bump I know  but any further thoughts on this? Many thanks Kitty
  5. Hey there Thanks for your replies guys Ok....I sent my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request)'s off to them and had my £10 cheque returned with a letter stating that due to the age of the accounts that they no longer have copies of my statements or information relating to my account. I've long since paid off the accounts, but still showing on my credit report as defaulted (albeit satisfied). Because they couldn't comply with the SAR and they were defaulted in 2002 I was hoping I could tackle them for the removal of the defaults. Any advice would be really appreciated Kitty P.S I don't have any info relating to these accounts as was at a time where I had my head stuck in the sand, hiding from everything :blushes:
  6. Hi there, I'd appreciate your thoughts on the reply I had from GE Capital re a letter about removing defaults from my account. I used the template from here: Remove Default Notices on a Credit File - We show you how and sent the following I recieved the following reply: I'm a little unsure what to do next, each of the defaults are marked as satisfied and have been for about 4 1/2 years. Can I still pursue this to try and get them removed? Thanks in advance
  7. Hiya, Fantastic idea. The only thing I noticed is the taborder in the additional addresses. Could it be amended so it tabs through the fields of the first address before it goes on to the second? Kitty
  8. Just wondering, if I go into the branch and ask for a copy of all my statements, should I not mention they are for charges? I'm convinced I've read on a thread somewhere on here, that they are providing them for longer periods of time if you don't tell them it's to claim back charges? Also my 40 days are up tomorrow, should I take a LBA for non compliance into the branch or post it diectly to Birmingham? Many thanks Kitty B
  9. Hi there many thanks for your reply. I don't suppose you have the number still do you? They didn't supply any contact details at all - just the usual Birmingham address. My brother told me I should go into the branch tomorrow, but I'm not sure if that's the correct approach? Many thanks Kitty B
  10. Hi there, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I sent my S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) from the template here to LTSB and the date is up on 1st June. Today I received an envelope from them with a couple of pages that list a few charges relating to only one of my accounts and the following letter. As I say, this only covered one of my accounts. I have 2 accounts, one credit card and 1 loan account with them. It also doesn't seem to quite cover a 6 year period. I've had my account for about 26 years so it's not been started from my account opening date. Has anyone else experienced this who could advise me on the next steps to take to retrieve the information I originally asked for without having to wait a further 40 days. Many thanks Kitty B
  11. Just checked my credit file and Egg performed a 'Identification Money Laundering Prevention' search on my credit file! Is this normal? Is it a recorded search? Just worried about the impact of it. Kitty
  12. Yes, 2004 and 1998. I've sent them in to CAG. Thanks, Kitty
  13. Many thanks Steven. This is all new ground to me, so just taking small steps but was curious about the check. In my bid to find some T&C's for Lloyds yesterday I opened hundreds of letters I'd put into a blackbag some years ago and have found a letter regarding a GE card being sold on to a DCA. I had 4 cards with GE and all the others are marked settled bar this one. This one has the same value as a CCJ from 5 years ago that is marked unsettled. I'm convinced that despite keeping my head in the sand, the paperwork that I did deal with at the time was the CCJ. My parents helped me clear priority debts and I set up plans with the other companies. I called Northampton, and they gave me a number for a solicitors but am thinking I will wait for the SAR info before I make any calls. So wondering now if the credit check was to establish the status of the debt? Kitty
  14. Hi, I just wondered if it was normal practice for companies (specifically GE) to check credit reports when responding to the SAR? I've noticed today that they have been listed as an unrecorded enquiry on my credit report about a week ago. The 40 days isn't up yet, and no communications from them at all yet. Thanks in advance Kitty
  15. I'm sorry but you can't possibly have read the judgement in relation to this case thoroughly. It contains 2 cases, the second was in relation to this case. You are referring to the 1st.
