  1. Will do! Managed to get through to them today. They've moved the goal posts and said we send them out 7 days before departure now -- WHAT????? Why do they keep our money this long without supplying goods. Wish I had lied about departure date now cos its getting a little close to the wire now. J
  2. Hi can anyone help? Booked some flights through an online company a year ago. They quoted best price a total of £2030. This was before thie airport departure tax increase. There are still enough seats available on flight with same company today available for £1776 INCLUDING THE TAX INCREASE. I cant help feeling done by this company and would like any advice whether or not to pursue them for the difference. Sum of : 2030 -1776 = 254 + 120 tax increase = £374 I am overpaying for booking well in advance. Any thoughts? Cheers J
  3. Hi Just wanted to let you know my dealings with this business. Their parent company is Sunstyle Vacations and are based in surrey. Ordered some tickets for disney etc in June 2007 from 2 different online businesses (due to better prices). The first one Orlando-ticket-deals.co.uk were great, tickets delivered in 4 days. However, the 2nd the aforementioned themepark-tickets.com took our payment and we did not hear anything. Concerned I got in touch with them end of July asking what was happening with our tickets ( all £600 worth), they said we send out 14 days before departure to florida (why?) so I will be expexting them on August 15th (today! day of post). by special delivery Surprise surprise they have not arrived! And low and behold, 3 e-mails to them have not been responded too and the phone has been constantly engaged all day long. What a joke! I know we should be able to get money back cos of credit card but I am still not satisfied at the lies, lack of service, potential to have ruined my holiday etc. I WOULD ADVISE ANYONE AGAINST BUYING FROM THIS FIRM, NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE PRICES SEEM! I feel cheated and angry, why are companies allowed to carry on like this (have found some similar threads on disney sites slating this company). What can I do to put pressure onto this company so no-one else has to endure the stress of such a thing? Is it worth contacting any official body, who would they be? Seems like the only thing I can do to get in touch with them now is a letter but who knows if they will answer that. Fed up and cheesed off! Thanks for listening to my rant and any advice on taking this further including reclaiming my money would be very much appreciated. Cheers Jamjo:evil:
  4. Hi new to this. Just wondered after browsing for a good while what anyone thinks of my situation and if anyone has any comments or similar experiences. At work in march this year I started to feel a bit weak, walking predominantly to the right and eyes went a bit funny. I left my car at work and got a lift to A&E to get checked out. Was admitted straight away and spent 2 weeks undergoing tests. I had an MRI which I was told that in technicians report suggested MS. I had a lumbar puncture (joyful experience!) which further indicated it (proteins?) and was put on a 5 day IV methyl prethisdolone or something like that. My walk was wierd, my eysight fuzzy and balance all over the place. I started to feel better and was discharged. My consultant from hospital said he was pleased with my progress but he said it 'MS'. He seemed very sure and said he had done a lot of work in this field before. He referred me to meet a neurologist which I am still waiting to see. Sure of his conviction I put in a claim for my critical illness cover. It has a 6 month see how it develops condition. Been off work for 5 months now ang hopefully gearing up for a return to work soon. My sick notes have always said 'probable' MS from GP. This is worrying me now with my claim as I thought the consultant said it was a definite dx. He states this on another form completed but again GP says 'PROBABLE' This money is going to seriously affect how my family continue to live and getting very anxious now. I phone company every week for update and they are forever waiting on medical reports. I am also worried that going back to work may have an impact on claim. Since my hospital admission I have not sought any further treatment by a doctor, thats not to say I have had some bad times at home. Sorry to go on, just worried, anxious and confused. Any thoughts jamjo
