  1. Hi guys! I filled a claim back ages ago to reclaim £500 from Lloyds TSB in bank charges. But due to this huge case which finished in November my claim was put on hold in the courts. Last month i received a letter from TSB basically telling me to take a hike and i can't do anything as they won in court. I'm a bit confused as people are still being able to claim the charges, if thats the case how? Have i got to restart the hole process again or is there a letter/document to send back to the bank in reply to they letter they sent me? If someone could help i would be very grateful. Many thanks for you time
  2. how come the stays are still in place if the banks lost? Do i still need to sit and wait or can i call the bank and ask them to refund it?
  3. Hi I am claiming back some charges from LLoyds TSB which i have had taken off me over the last 2 years. At the end of last year i submitted a N1 for to my local Small Claims Court as TSB were not playing ball. When the big court case was starting between the banks and ??? to see if bank charges were wrong i had a letter off the cour saying that nothing will be done about it until the case is over. As the case is now over and the banks lost.. how do i go about getting my charges back.. do i have to start all over or call the local court up and ask them to start my case again? Hope someone can help. Many thanks in advance.
  4. I'm gonna look for a new bank cuz lloyds are the worst. Does anyone know when this test case is supposed to happen and end? Also how its going? Many thanks for your help

Is it anything to worry about and does she need to take anything with her? Hope someone can provide me with some advice on the both above. Many thanks

I called up today and asked whats going on and the lady i spoke to said that there is a Case Management meeting being setup for October. 10. Hey My brother won his charges back last week (which he has used to pay off some of his student overdraft, lol) but racked up another £150 in the last month. £60 which is due to come out on Friday and then £90 which is coming out July 1st. He tried speaking to his branch to stop the charges going through as they know he won the last ones back and he explain this but they "cant" stop them. As th £90 isnt due until July 1st, does he have to wait until then to start the claim again, also is it the same proceedure as the first claim, as he has already won and didnt give up, and they know that, or is there another way of doing it 2nd time? Also is the process quicker this time as they know he wont give up cuz he DEFINATLY knows he will win them back? Hope someone can help Cheers
  11. Hey im about to file a claim for £1800 against NWide. I was just woundering do NWide always pay up if so how long on average does it take them to cough up after filing it with the court? Sent my 14day letter request in 12 days ago and havent heard a thing from them. many thanks

It says 40 days to send them, can i actually change that as i was told on the phone it will take up to 14 days. 40 days is a long time!?! Looking at that post, it seems they dont send them or take forever, cani go into my branch and request my CC statments? thanks

  21. Hey I have just ben helping my auntiefill out her AQ N150 form and i was reading the defence sent to her by the court from the abnk and in it it says: 10) The Defendant denies that it is liable to the Claiment for the sums claimed and interest as pleaded or at all. In the alternitive if (whichs is denied) the said charges are unenforcable and constituted a breach of contract by the Defendant, those charges which were applied to the account prior to 12 April 2001 are no recoverable because they are time-barred under the terms of the Limitation Act 1980 in that more than six years have elapsed since to accrual of the cause of action. OK she did send a interest speadsheet to them, the court, when she filed it going back in to 2000 which she did without relising. What on earth shall i do now to help her?? Hope someone can help.
