Hi, I am really worried now. I have received a different defence (check my tread) and i have a court date on the 18th June. The court didn't want me to fill in a AQ, and i have no idea what "court bundle" to get together? Please can anyone help? Do i need to send anything off? Thanks Jane

Hi all, sorry its taken so long but here it is. Defence i have received is as follows; 1. This defence is served without predjudice to the defendant contention that the statement of claim is insufficiently particularised and is embarrassing. The defendant reserves the right to plead further to the statement of claim once they are sufficiently particularised. 2. The defendant will object that the particulars of claim in this action disclose no reasonable cause of action against the defendant and makes no specific allegations against the defendant as to why the defendant should be liable to the claimant for the amount claimed. 3. The particulars of claim do not comply with rule 16.4 1(a) of the civil procedure rules as (amongst othe things) they do not identify tha account in question that appears to form the subject matter of these proceedings, or indeed show how the sum £868.81 is arrived at, and do not appear to take inton account the refund already paid and there is no pleaded basis in law and fact for the claim itself, the particulars of claim are too vague. 4. The statement of claim shows no reasonable grounds for bringing the claim and should be struck out persuant to rule 3.4 2 (a-c) of the civil procedure rules. I have also had a letter from the court stating my court date is the 18th June and that they have received my AQ even though i haven't filled one in. Hi, i received the defence yesterday, and i'm not sure its the standard 9 point defence. How will i know? Its all in a foreign language and i'm not quite sure what they are saying? Help................... Jane:eek:

Hi Thanks for your reply. I am claiming £868.81 plus the £80.00 court fee. I am claiming for the last six years. It is a Platinum Plus Account and yes SC & M are the solicitors. Hope you can help. J

But today Lloyds Tsb have filled a defence against my claim. This is completely new territory for me and i really don't know what i have to do next? Please Help!!!! J
