  3. Hi I done some chasing to Lloyds over the last few months and when contacting them by email now, I always copy the email to the Chief Executive officer (CEO), I feel this helps. When and if you email Lloyds just remember to give them your case/complaint ref number, when I email them now, they do normally get back the same day or the following day the latest. We had the same with some of the reclaims with them, but what we did was email the dept here: customer.care.insurance@lloydstsb.co.uk And copy it to the Chief Executive officer (CEO) of Lloyds Eric.Daniels@lloydstsb.co.uk This should help shift them, remember to enclose your case/complaint number to them and that it was resolved by the FOS. Anyway, well done with your success.

  7. Hi there Yes, if youv'e kept a copy, then post that off to HSBC, the FOS may just write to say they are unable to deal with it until you hear a response from the bank. Good luck with this.

Hi there It maybe worth you requesting for a Subject Access Request (SAR), so hopefully they should send you details of all loans taken out and calculations etc. But as you have a few, I take it you have been mis sold on all of them of the PPI? You can still try to reclaim on them all, where it will be reduced by any rebate given if any. But note, if you used a broker for the first loan set up, its them you pursue on the first one, unless of course the lender also set up the loan, but then if you had a loan advance which would be the lender you then reclaim on this separately
  10. Hi Sorry if you mis understood my post as posted a few days ago above. The questionnaire are recently new and issued by the FOS so you can use to send to the loan company/bank this can be used instead of writing a letter, you give them 8 weeks to respond, sometimes they will request for extra time, but once the 8 weeks have gone by, your in your right to complain to the FOS, so its therefore useful to keep a copy of the questionnaire just in case...so they end up having a copy to enclose with a complaints form, alongside with the final response given from the bank.   12. Hi I would write to the best of your knowlegde of why you are not happy, obviously its all down to the reasons on how you were mis sold the policy.   13. Hi, your welcome You do therefore have a good reason to reclaim, it seemed to be the case for lots in regards of the cancellation lark. And also for them to make it a condition of the loan is a good reason to make a reclaim. So I would give it a go anyway. There are templates on this website to help you through this, or complete the FOS questionnaire that was recently issued by the FOS to make a reclaim to whom set up and mis sold you the policy, you will find the PPI questionnaire on the FOS website at the bottom of their page on link below, complete and remember to save a copy.
  14. Hi Landy and thank you. Yes for a £1 it may be worth giving it a go anyway and see what happens. I think there was a gap from the very earliest one to the one after which did follow on to the recent one reclaimed. I will give it a go anyway and let you know the outcome. Again thank you.

Hi there I would check the policy booklet details of this, but you are entitled to cancel whenever you like, but they all deal with these matters differently, for instance, if for example you cancelled within the cooling period, then they would to my knowledge refund that month if paid in by then and reduce it down to just the loan. But with some, its a matter of taking out a new loan without PPI to pay off the existing loan. Hopefully whoever have dealt with these will post up with their own experience. Remember though your entitled to then reclaim on the PPI, good luck.

Hi there And as the above posts, your able to reclaim if a successful claim have already been made, I have known a few to be successful, but obviously the amount due to be refunded if successful will be reduced, due to so much of it already being used for the claim made.   18. Hi there I have had a few accounts with LLoyds TSB, and have reclaimed PPI on a Credit Card and so far 3 loans. If you went to reclaim ppi for example on a loan where there are arrears they can refund the amount of PPI towards that actual account but any interest should be refunded directly to you. For instance, one of my loan accounts, the ppi refund was made towards that one because of the arrears on that account, but they did refund the interest directly to my. On the other 2 loan accounts, the ppi was refunded directly to me, yet these were accounts settled a few years

However its up to you, if you want to take them to the FOS now, they will I'm sure uphold in your favour and defo with your reasons. I don't think Lloyds investigated your complaint properly and sent out their standard fob off responses. Some have wrote back by giving them a few days (7 days for example) request for them to re-look and have mentioned about the FSA (As I posted in my above Post) and within days they have got back and upheld.   20. Hi Well done on the loan ppi reclaiming. I realise by mine and lots of others, that our loan ppi have been more successful than that of reclaiming on credit card ppi. I would write back and tell them you don't believe your complaint was investigated properly, as you have recently been successful in reclaiming from loan PPI for the same reasons. Then tell them the FSA are punishing banks for not investigating complaints properly and you believe yours is one of them.   21. Landy Sorry for the delay in posting. This is fab, well done! And I must thank you for help with mine as well. Thank you. In my hubby's SAR they sent info going back with the main of the stuff as from later 1999, mainly bank statements, and loan/credit card agreements as from 2001. I noted on the bank statements there were another 2 loans (could see from the loan account numbers), and I know PPI was added but they did not enclose the agreements for these. What do you think the chances are in asking for these with the £1 payments? Or do you think they would have enc

  23. Yes good point. Yes they ended up upholding since I wrote to them, and should be receiving the refund of just under £1K in my bank account (no longer with them either) before the middle of this month. So that is 3/3 so far upheld.
