  1. Hi Shuggler, Just sent you a PM regarding your predicament!!!
  2. Be very careful that you don't go time out once you are diagnosed. For Example, once you have on you medical info, record of the Illness then you have started the time running on bringing a case. your Solicitor will inform you of this. When you go to see them, be open/honest and straight to the point. Remember, they will be working for you and need to know everything. (Medication/Help needed/etc).
  3. No problems enamae, I have calmed down now;) with regards claiming shuggler, make sure you are sure before you start this ball rolling, the reason I say this is that I started a claim 3 years ago and finally at the beginning of this year they settled out of court (They dragged my name through the mud/Lied through their teeth regarding the condition and sent me too 3 specialists and still they sided with me).The final settlement was a 6 figure sum, but it also made the solicitor a tidy sum. If you go for the No win No Fee types, then go to a reputable one where the fees are claimed in addition to your Settlement. Hope this is of some help to you. any more questions then ask away, as I'm glad to help.
  4. Sorry to have to correct you but Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is most definatly not Vibration White Finger, VWF also known as Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome cannot be operated on and is extremely painful, It is commonly seen in ex-miners as you so rightly said, but it can be found in any industry that uses percussion Tools. Sorry if this appears as a jump down you(It's not mean't that way), but I am a sufferer of HaVS(Still quite young @ 37) and have been written off by so many people because of this illness, I will be on strong Painrelief for the rest of my life and nothing can be done, I only wish it was cts as at least there would be a hope! Sorry, Rant over
  5. Result all round at the moment, Lets see if the attitude changes later on in the year, I'm expecting the usual pestering of investing.
  6. ***UPDATE*** After my meeting all charges have been refunded by Manager, Overdraft has been increased until June, It's quite amazing how they change their mind when you inform them that the large deposit expected later in the year could go elsewhere! Thanks for the advice.
  7. Thanks for the support. Will do (Keep the thread up to date). Thanks again.
  8. Once again, Thank you. I have printed the letter off (with info filled in) and will arm myself with it on Monday, if it doesn't go my way then I will present it to him in person.
  9. Thanks for the reply, Overdraft extension was rejected last time I saw them. I will lay all cards on the table with them but not tell them about the new account. hopefully I can do this in time. As soon as everything is transfered across I will start reclaim. Once again Thank you,
  10. Hi, Sorry this may be a long message, but I do need advice! After speaking to my branch manager approx 6 weeks ago explaining my sudden drop in income(Medically retired from work), I asked for compassion as I would probably go over my overdraft and could they give me a loan to cover the period of time until I get a paid out from a large compensation claim (6 figure sum approx 4-5 months), proof was shown to him regarding the amount. Unfortunately the loan request was rejected (as expected). I went £3 over my overdraft which they hit me with a £25 charge which took me £28 over, because my pension wasn't due for another 2 days they then hit me for £25 per day for the next 2 days (£78 now), because my pension is fixed and only just covers my outgoings, I will now have a deficit of £78, this will have a knock on effect as they are more than likely going to charge me £25 a day for going over by this amount, As I am paid every 30 days this means that their next charges will be £750, this is more than my pension so I will not have enough to cover my bills (Heating and food), I have made an appointment with the branch manager for monday to see what can be done. It seems that now they know I will be getting a large sum of Money in 4-5 months, they are hell bent on getting as much of it as they can (£750+ 4/5 months will be £3000-£3750) !!!!!! I have opened a basic account with another bank as a back-up, and need to know what I need to say/ask for from the Yorkshire manager on Monday. Advise before monday would be great.
  11. Yes, charging order was granted on 10th Jan, I was too ill to attend but was told by PayPlan it was just a formality. Do I contact Marlin tomorrow?
  12. Would a S.A.R delay anything with Marlin? I have just printed a SAR letter off and will post it on Monday if it will help me?
  13. Thank you for the response I will get onto payplan on Monday. My main worry is the thought of losing my house. If these people would leave me alone for the next 6 months, I could pay them all off in August, (Awaiting a payout from a claim that will be in 6 figures).
