Hi, I need help disputing a ticket received, I have a scooter and parked in Westminster council over the weekend - not knowing you have to pay for parking I received 2 tickets when I returned on monday to pickup my bike. one for friday and one for monday-(that I dont mind paying) when I called them to pay I was told I have 3 tickets and that the parking bay was suspended over the weekend. I have 2 issues- not receiving the third ticket in the first place ( was not found on my vehicle) and secondly no notice was displayed (that I can recall ) that the bay was suspended over the weekend.
  2. I have a situation with Pipex. I left(canceled my service) pipex in Nov 06 and moved house pretty much after that. I had to pay the remainder of my contract and settled my account in full at the time. Now I get a call from my old house mate (June 07) saying that there is a bill from Pipex of £56.00 for me. I contacted them and they told me its from my home phone call for September and October. when I asked them why it was not included in my last bill of Nov 06 (last calls billed 10-oct-06) they told be it was separate change to the broadband and could not estimate how much I was go

  4. Thank you all for the help.. I have contacted them and asked the reconsider , and at the same time asked the Financial ombudsman service to send a little letter as well. They have now paid out the full value of the phone.

  6. Well my insurance policy is with Natwest ( under writers are London general Insuranc) didnt take any insurance from my service provider.
  7. My phone got nicked on the 13th and reported it the next day, they said to wait for my crime Ref no. That only arrived on the 16th and I called the Insurance Company on the 17th. So I was properly 4 days late. However I'm counting on the fact that I got Advised by the police to wait for my ref no as they didn't give it to me on the day... I hope that helps
  8. I'm currently appealing to a claim for my stolen mobile. They have denied my claim on the grounds that I did not contact them within the 42 hours time bracket, however I did contact the police and my service provider withing 24hours. Could any1 help me on this one as I feel this is just wrong..? :?
  9. I had the same happen to me, I wrote 3 letter and after 3 months of endless correspondence by letter I just gave up. Now I have £50 phone bill every month and no handset.
