Hi guys, you're all still here then, I'm checking in after quite a long time, what with moving house, then my Mum passing away very unexpectedly 2 days before Christmas I've been very busy looking after my Dad I haven't even thought about bank charges to be honest, except I'm now getting them again because my finances have taken a back seat as I've so much paperwork to sort out for my ageing Dad, not that I mind, love him to bits. It's looking good, is it?? I expect the banks will appeal just to drag it out further, I suppose I should contact the court to let them know my change of address:eek: yes just something else I haven't got round to, though we have re-directed all our mail, just a little worried that for some reason the address being wrong will go against me. Yes I'm still worrying about the slightest thing:D How's everyone else doing? I'll have to take time out to have a good read of all your threads to catch up. Jacqui:)

Hey PD, Pete, and Jo, it's good to be back, Yep that dust gets everywhere Pete! Got the kids a PS3 keep them occupied whilst we're busy sure it's supposed to be a very shiney black but it's a lovey plaster colour hoping to pursued hubby to put a dust extraction system in whilst he's doing everything else lol wouldn't that be brill no more dusting yipee:D. Hi Freaky, good to know you're all better from your stay in hospital, renovation just starting 1st plaster and lath ceiling down few more to go then the damp to sort then maybe we can get some central heating in here!! I've finally moved house, as mentioned previously it's a complete renovation project so we've got our hands full. Hello all, got letter from DG, standard, "we will apply for a stay" letter, I also rang my local court and they confirmed my file went before the judge and it would most likely be stayed pending test case, I rang HSBC just to ask if any possibility that they would re offer but as I'd already rejected an offer and started court proceedings, all my paperwork has been filed away until outcome of test case. So now I'm thinking maybe one last attempt by sending the 'new nudge letter' (thanks, Pete, Lattie and FL for that) I've no hardship grounds to get the stay lifted at all so If nothing is forthcoming from DG after that I'm going to put the whole lot on back burner and forget about it until after the test case. I've been eating and sleeping this for almost 7 months now and am fed up thinking about it. I'M NOT GIVING IN, I'll keep on reading and watching and update if I get any joy from the nudge. This new nudge would be a brilliant idea, I have been meaning to nudge for a few weeks but since oft announcement, got no idea how to word it, of course we all know that DG will apply for a stay so need to make that clear need to convince them that they'll have even more to deal with after the test case if they don't clear some of the backlog now. while I'm here I've asked this a couple of times but no feedback, can i complain about hsbc not replying to one of my claims within the 8 weeks if that 8 weeks was well and truly up before the announcement? Chin up paz, been watching this one you gave it your best shot and at least you've been to court and have a better idea of what to expect, wont be facing the unknown next time, think I'm going to start trying to settle with DG, I've not got a date yet, did AQ back on 17th June, thought it would all be over by now, my court is staying claims according to the lists so expect I'll be waiting long into 2008:eek:.

Thanks LL, Yes it was defo transfered ages ago to Leicester, AQ 17th June DG filed theirs 17th July gone to judge so just waiting for his directions.

Just read zootscoot sticky about all mcol claims automatically being stayed, does this just apply to claims since the 27th oft announcement or all claims on mcol including ones that have already been defended? Anybody know?

Yep going to as above post, this money is running further and further away from me at the minute, and I'm struggling to catch up with it. First was going to pay for my hols (been and returned), then all the new uniform and school shoes, (times running out for that), then the house (sold ours and offer accepted on shack) so defo need money to make it liveable, at least got some equity so at least be able to install heating n new electrics. Perhaps I'll use it to celebrate my 50th only 9 years away!!

Quick question, these new POC's, should I do one of these for my claim even though it's as far as waiting for a court date? Sorry if this is covered else where, been very busy lately selling house, hols, dentist etc etc not had much time to keep an eye on things, then of course the oft announcement, been watching and waiting see what happens and feeling defeated, but I'm ready to start the fight again now however long it takes!!
