  1. Thank you so much for your reply. These last 4 years have been hell and its now causing problems with my partner. I know this has nothing to do with Lloyds but I had problems with First Direct who charged with with gay abandon for going as much as 49p o/d, I don't have my bank statements for them and its been 7 years (I think) since I was with them (they were my bank when I lost my house due to my ex ex and his "lodger"). Will they still have any records of me? should I post in that forum too? So many questions! Thanks Frin xx
  2. Hello, I'm a newbie so apologies if I'm posting information that has been discussed before. I've been a customer of Lloyds TSB for several years (about 6 or 7 I think) and since 2003 they've been an absoloute nightmare. I split from my ex partner in 2003 and kept Lloyds informed of the situation, basically he left me with everything to pay, and I ran up a huge amount of debt due to redundancy, cost of living outstripping income (I had 2 jobs) and then starting my teacher training course. I've racked up a large 4 figue debt (approx 8k in 2 accounts a loan and a c/card )due to being overdrawn, d/d being returned etc all because I didn't have enough money etc. We had a joint account and a joint loan but I've now discovered that I've been charged another £360 as they couldn't change my joint account to a basic non fee account without my ex's signature (he never returned any of the forms) becaue the loan was coming out of that account. I've since taken over the loan into my sole account (which LLoyds in Aberystywyth and the collections centre in Brighton told me I couldn't do) but a financial assistant in Worcester sorted this out for me recently. I know I can get my bank statments that I'm missing but they try to charge me for each non current statement. my mom says theres a fixed minimal sum that I can pay, is this true? I'm in such a mess, sorry if this is all gabbled but I don't know where to turn or what to do.
