hi i am new to this page, but thought i would let you know that i had sent a letter to my bank the halifax, who took my ten pound and only sent statements they wanted to. i requested the others to be sent out to me and they gave me copies of the ones they already sent me, and less the three years statments i wanted. i called again then was told to write i did this and that was on the 5th of march with no answer to my letter. i am not sure where to go from here is there anyone who can advise me on what i should do or is there an offical bodie, i can contact to get the bank moving. I have also been told that the banks are also waiting on some law to be passed, that they don't have to pay out the full amount to anyone who is trying to claim back all there money. can anyone tell me if this is true.
