  1. Hi Andy OK i get it now that is the queried answered. the OC with the tomlin order was a bank. the PPI claim is against the same bank, so any PPI award can and will be used to off set against the tomlin order debt even if the payment terms for the tomlin have not been breached. Thank you:-)
  2. Hi The tomlin account is different to the PPI account being claimed. the only connection is that they are both with the same bank. just wondered if a tomlin order was a closed account until or unless the t&c's of the tomlin were breached. If t&c's not breached can the tomlin account be used to off set any awards to?
  3. Hi just reading up on 'off setting' but haven't come across this example. can anyone provide an answer please
  4. Hi Dx100, Thanks for the link. so its GE. Many thanks. Will get the SARs sent to them.
  5. Hi can anyone give me the heads up on which organisation i contact for a SARs submission for an old Laura Ashley store card. is it GE Santander Newday or actually L.Ashley I've read through several posts and even tried to google the information, but i am still not clear on the answer. Help!
  6. Hi i have been trying to find the actual legislation allowing taxpayers the right to choose to pay over 12 months instead of 10 if you notify your local authority before the start of the financial year. does anyone know what regs this ruling comes under? i want to be able to quote it in correspondence to my LA who are blatantly ignoring my right to make this choice myself. they are operating on the old system whereby they use their discretion as to whether or not you are allowed the 12 month method.
  7. Hi again I'm still stuck on SARs issue, with yet another question by sending in a SARs request, are you automatically placing your account in 'dispute' with the OC? or do you have for formally have the word 'dispute' included somewhere in a letter? and the the dispute covers any topic or is it only the creditors failure to comply with a CCA request that puts the account into a disputed status? many thanks
  8. Hi Dx mine is Lloyds. i understand that 25 Gresham Street is still the registered address for Lloyds. I've had a letter from them today (on another matter) and the small print at the bottom of the letter states Gresham Street. No worries i will send SARs request again and hope that my original letter makes its way back to me. Thanks Dx
  9. Dx as i said before i did get the information from a sticky - the lloyds sticky - the 3rd sticky down named lloyds tsb contact details. there are 9 posts on this thread. thread 9 doesn't make clear info re SARs so i opted for post 8 which states DSAR. Post 9 doesn't make it clear that DSAR go to lloyds head office. i do think that your response is a bit harsh i do hope however that you are not having a bad day.
  10. Hi Ford i honesty don't know why the post office wouldn't accept the postcode. The PO officer typed in the address info twice and their machine came back saying 'No' i was in no position to debate it so had to leave without posting the letter that day. Never mind, the letter has been sent now to their HQ. your input is appreciated:-)
  11. Hi dx i did get the address from a sticky e: ***LloydsTSB contact details*** New address for Subject access requesticon. DSAR Unit, Lloydsicon TSB BANK PLC, Customer Service Recovery, Charlton Place, Andover, SP10 1RE this was under Maroondevo52, post No 8, dated 28/10/09 What then is the correct address please?
  12. Hi i sent off a SARs request to lloyds at Charlton Place First Floor C46 Charlton Road Andover SP10 1RE this was on the 9/2/15 - recorded delivery i wondered why to date i have not received even an acknowledgement, so i went on track and trace to discover the PO still have it. is this because the address is incorrect? this may mean i have to resend with a noter £10 postal order, as it is unlikely the original will be returned to me unless the PO open p the letter to obtain my address!! does anyone have any ideas before i resend? thanks
  13. Hi FK Thanks, i will send to their registered office instead. bit of a bore you cannot use their customer services address to send recorded mail to. i really do not want to give the bank another format which they can use to harass me (i.e. email) and possible sell on to other co's so my email box gets filled up with junk/spam written letter communication between us will suffice. Hi Ford Thanks for you reply - thats the post code i used, but the post office refused it. waste of an envelope for me - lloyds really should state that the customer service address does not accept recorded delivery on their website and/or provide a proper/alternative address.
  14. Thanks fkofilee i just wondered if there had been a change because i wrote to Mr O late last year about a matter to date i have not received any response not been an acknowledgement. i thought maybe there was some kind of transition going on, and this was the reason behind my interrogation whilst speaking to someone in their customer services team however interestingly. i was advised that any complaints i have should be addressed to lloyds bank customer services BNX 1LT i have just been to the post office to try and send the letter via the NBX postcode, only to be told i CANNOT send the letter by recorded delivery as the post code is incorrect, i can however send by ordinary post!!! i returned home to double check, and found on lloyds website that the post code on my letter is the same as on the lloyds website! my question is if you need to send a complaint via recorded delivery, to the complaints team, do not want to discuss the complaint by phone because you want a record and do not want to send them an email because you do not want them to have another format by way to harass you - what address do you use?? if anyone can help with my question i would be very appreciative.
  15. Hi i need the updated info on who is the CEO for Lloyds these days and where are they based. i did look at the thread on here, but it all relates to Lloyds TSB. i do not want to try to get the information again by phone - the last time i tried i was quizzed by the gestapo and still didn't get the answer, kept being referred to their customer services team which is not whom i want to address my letter to. thanks
  16. Thank you both for the prompt response clarification. much appreciated
  17. Hi fellow Caggers I'm not sure if others on here have any thoughts into this, but I'm hoping to get some help to clarify the situation on something i have come across recently, having read this as part of the lending code. 232. Customers should be advised BEFORE their debt is passed or sold to a third party by a subscriber. The intended outcome of this provision is that a customer SHOULD NOT receive any contact from the party to whom the debt has been passed or sold without having received prior notification from the subscriber of the transfer. what if the OC (subscriber) has NOT given prior notification to the debtor of the sale of the debt to a third party? if a customer received a letter from a DCA stating 'i am now the owner of this debt' and in the same envelope was a supposed NOA from an OC, would this count as the OC having met 232? thanks Thanks
  18. Hi Dx any feedback on my point that on the fact that one of my agreements show that PPI was refused but ultimately the bank front loaded it on anyway. are you aware of this happening with others on here? and if they did anything additional to the standard PPI refund request? thanks
  19. HI Dx unsecured from Lloyds, consolidated secured with C&G Credit goes to C&G then for doing the right thing. Thanks DX for clearing that up, and for the link looking over other paper work on one of the Lloyds loan applications, it shows PPI refused or not wanted (typed in). but on the statement itself, PPI was added anyway! just awful. i have to take some of the blame myself though for not double checking at the time - but it just wouldn't have occurred to me to doubt that the bank would not have been acting in my best interest or adhered to my instructions/ request. its so time consuming to have to double check all the time, and so depressing to have to doubt and be suspicious about what banks say, or more importantly don't!
  20. Hi some advice on this subject please. i have spent some time looking through several threads but haven't come up against my situation yet and would appreciate a link or advice. doing some clearing up, have come across some really old bank statements in a box. the upshot is that some of the statements refer to PPI up front on loans. i think from the paperwork that the loans were eventually consolidated into another loan which was not sold to me with a single premium, and which is now paid off. how would i go about getting these PPI payments back? could i get them back? if consolidated the loans would have been paid off early? does that mean that i would not have incurred further PPI interest for the time of the consolidated loan? the frustrating thing is that i did a SARS some time ago - the loans did not show up, so obviously neither did the PPi's. whether the banks keep all the paperwork on loans or not, surely they must keep a record on a computer somewhere? how is it that a copy of that record was not sent out as part of my SARs and how do i now go about getting them to give me the information. if i had not found my old statements i would never have realised!! what alerted me to double check is the consolidated loan agreement states the following in the comments box' £loan amount. net of insurance premium refunds' what on earth does that sentence mean? thanks
  21. Hi Does anyone know what Lloyds would have been charging for their packaged accounts back in 1987? I've gone back over my own records and can share the following just in case it is useful to anyone else. Classic account - package referred to either:- account fixed charge account service charge account charge around 1991 account charge was £8.00 per month around 2004 account charge £10.00 per month around 2008 account charge £12.00 per month around 2011 account charge £12.95 per month i assume that the account charges would have been the same for everyone with this type of package account, but am not sure if the month that the increase took place would be the same for everyone. if anyone does know about the classic package charge for the period 87-91, and willing to share the information that would be great.
