  1. The keys weren't in the car in the end and I had to get another set brought out to me. I thought they might have been as I used the key fob to undo the boot and chucked a couple of bags I there. If the AA man had said there might be a possibility that this might do some harm I would have not wanted it done.
  2. Had to call the AA out today after I lost my car keys. I had to sign a disclaimer about damage to the vehicle whist effecting an entry which I thought was fair enough and think it would mean damage to the bodywork. It was the only way of getting them to do it aswell. After he tried the usual ways to get in which failed he tried powering up the electrical system through the reverse light to power up the electric windows. This worked and I got access to the car, as I drove off the MIL came on,the speedo didn't work, the power steering didn't work and the engine was in limp mode and wouldn't rev past 4k. I managed to get home and called back the AA who sent someone out.He checked fuses which were fine and error codes had gone as I had reset the ECU but still couldn't find out what was wrong. He then called up head office to find out what I could do now as the car needs to go back to the main dealers for some honda diagnostics and how would the AA cover the costs. Headoffice then informed him that as I signed a disclaimer they were not liable for any damage done to the car and leave, which he did. Now I'm stuck with having an unsafe car to drive and facing a bill which could be thousands judging on previous main dealer experiances.Anyone else had simalar dealings with the AA breaking into their car damaging it and then getting the AA to pay for it?
