  2. Hi, Yeah, this is my court date eventually. I sent off my questionnaire around 3 months ago but that was all I sent back - very vague and no supporting documentation etc. Does that mean all the information I want to take to court I just turn up with, they dont need anything prior? Thanks.
  3. I have just recieved my court summons (12th Dec) for my case against Barclays. Do I need to submit any paperwork to the court or Barclays prior to the court date? If so, how long before does this need to be done, and will thiks be the only paperwork I can use in court of can I take in additional information I may have gathered since? Thanks
  4. Anybody with any suggestions?
  5. Yeah, but they wont cover any postage costs - which were £12 - and then pay based on the sale price less £15, so I would only end up with £18. I've applied for it but it still leaves me £27 short
  6. I bought an item of eBay for £44 which when it arrived turned out to be fake. I countacted the seller but suprise-suprise, no responce. As I had bought it on my credit card I contacted my issuer to do a chargeback and they sent me out all the paperwork which I returned. I then recieved a letter from them to advise me they couldnt do the chargeback as I payed through Nochex which only acts as a 'transfer of money' and not a 'merchant'. As the item is under £100 I dont think Im protected by the Consumcer Credit Act but as you can imagine Im pretty annoyed to lose the £44. I checked on the
  7. Cheers. Bet there loving all these bookings! Will look forward to recieving it in the post....
  8. Cheers. Does anybody know how long it usally takes for the court to reply? I have entrusted my questionnaire into the hands of the Royal Mail a week ago! Hmmmm, the less said about them the better!
  9. Ive just sent back my court questionnaire, how long after did you get your deadline to supply the evidence? Many thanks.
  10. Thanks. Do you know at what point the responce needs to be filed as I presume it is before going to court itself? Moderated : 3 threads merged and moved to correct forum , Barclays .Please keep to your original thread when updating as it is much easier for everyone if they can see at a glance what has happened re your claim before replying to any new queries from you
  11. Barclays have played their usual game of filing a defence to my claim on the final day. I have now recieved a questionnaire from the court along with their defence. My question is when returing my questionnaire to the court do I need to respond to the defence with my case or is this dealt with at a later date? If I do, then do I send a copy to Barclays too? Much appreciated....
  12. Barclays have just filed their defence and I've just recieved my court questionnaire (http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/barclays-bank/20439-andyroo-barclays-bank.html). At what stage are you to at mo? PS: How do you post links where you click on the text to access the link (looks tidier than above)? Normal HTML doesnt seem to work...
  13. Sounds like a sensible thing to do. Test the water before diving in at the deep end. Nice to see another fellow member from Cardiff too...
