  1. Hi Jenny Nice to put a face to a name:) Hope all goes well with your A & L claim, hope Judge G shoots them down (cheeky mares). Thanks for all the effort you have put in to this site I have read many of your threads and taken much needed advice from them. Hope all goes well with Barclays... I checked my acct after leaving court and LTSB had credited my account with the amount I claimed at MCOL, but not the amount at cmi. After all that 'fannying about' with their 28 days. I would like to let Judge G know this to avoid him granting further 28 day stays for settlement. But in saying this, my case is not yet settled I'm still appx £300 down, so maybe it will take 28 days. Hope the lady with the business acct gets sorted soon and also the poor gent from Australia, KEEP MY FINGERS CROSSED But any how, glad it's nearly over with... Good Luck again:)
  2. Hi Thank you for your reply. I am number 222 on the list of claimants for Leeds. I received the letter 14 May it is dated the 10th May. Funnily enough, I rang the court on the 10th and they told me I had no chance of the 28th as they had such a back log, they told me it would be an August date. Lucky me...
  3. Hi All Just a quick hello and to say after a long wait, I too am in Leeds on the 28th against Lloyds I have copied the CMI sheet, however, I am a little confused regarding the costs Q35 + 36, should I just copy Q35 £9.25, 25 hours research + prep Q36 £9.25 30 hours research + prep. I do believe I have spent this time in research etc,
  4. Hi I have recieved my ack that a service has been filed dated the 14th May. It says lloyds have 28 days from this date to file a defence. I know that my case will be held in Leeds mercantile but I have no date yet. The letter says that Sechiari solicitors are acting for Lloyds and all correspondence must be sent to them. Whats the next step, do I wait until the 11th of June (28 days up) to send my defence. Any help would be appreciated
  5. Hi Curlychic, thank you for your advice, Im sorry about the threads. Could you please advise me on how to PM a moderator to get them merged.?
  6. Hi Could anybody help me please, I am in the court stage and have received an acknowledgement from Sechiari Solicitors stating they are to defend. I have called the leeds County Court who have advised me they are to transfer my case to Leeds Mercantile. Could you please advise me on what to do next and the procedure, or any links that may be of help.. Much appreciated...
  7. Hi Just to let you know, I requested my statements on the 23/02/2007, I also complained to the OFT after the 40 days was up. I telephoned 2 weeks ago and got the basic response 'will be dealt with shortly', I asked to speak to a manager who told me the same thing, I then told him that I have not asked to speak to a manager to get the same response as that from the frontline team and that I would like to speak to his Manager, his attitude then changed, I received my statements a week ago along with a £50 credit to my account as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience. All the correspondence was in his name as he assured me from the telephone converstaion that he would be following up my complaint. It may be worth you doing the same thing, don't let them fob you off, If they cant tell you what you want to know go higher as they do not want to pass a complaint to 'their boss' as it would mean they are unable to deal with what they are paid to do (I know this because I work in a similar role, not banking may I add GOOD LUCK
  8. Hi I have filed my N1 today at Leeds County Court (3xN1 + 3 X sched of charges. I understand from the very knowledgeable Barty that my claim will be filed in 5 days and LTSB have 28 days from the date of my claim to file a defence (I should be sending docsa in in appx 19 days . Does this mean I will have a court date in 28 days. If not has anybody got an approximate timescale for when Leeds County Court will set a hearing, (and will it be in Leeds) Thank you.:-|
  9. Hi Icy I'm still awaiting my statements from lloyds trustcard. I asked for them on the 23/2/07, I have now filed a complaint with the OFT. I did try calling them but they cannot speak to the dept who deals with DPA comms are sent by email, but when you call back to say not received they say they were sent on xx date which is in fact the day you last called, I dont think the advisors really know how to tackle this or how to read the accounts as I have to correct them to state the date they are giving me is the date I last complained not the date they were sent out (I would have had a very angry postman if that was the case . I hope you have better luck than me, Good Luck :-|
  10. Hi I have handed in my N1 today at Leeds county court, I did not use MCOL as did'nt want to get caught out with the space limitations. I spoke to a very helpful but young gent, who advised me I need all supporting docs, I said that I only need the N1 and my sched of charges as the rest of Docs will be requested in 2-3 weeks. He then took the N1 and sched of my charges x 3 (no letters, etc) and then said to wait a week for a case number then I will receive a case date. As helpful as he was I am a little confused as to what happens next and what the usual timescale is for a court date (he said 2 weeks then 2 weeks for a defence by Lloyds. I have the court bundle printed off and the OFT statement. Can anybody advise me, by the way I used Gresham st as the registered address.
  11. Thank you, I will let you know how I get on.
  12. Hi I have 3 accts with lloyds that I wish to dispute, 2xbank accts and 1 x c/card acct. I have been waiting forever for the c/card statements and complained to the oft as the timescale is well passed 40 days. In the meantime I have got as far as sending my LBA letter to Lloyds (sent 27/03/07) and had no response. Before this I had the standard bogg off letter to my first letter. I am now wanting to file at court but I want to claim contractual Interest, would this be ok to do or would I have to start the whole procedure again and include the contractual charges. Thanks
  13. Hello, Can anybody advise me if I can file for two accts on mcol, both lloyds, if not where would I get an N1 from. Thank you
  14. Thank you Michael, The total claim is less than £5000, with 8% interest. I will use the N1 once I have received the statments from Trustcard and am passed the 14 day LBA stage. Thanks for your help:)
  15. Lloyds SAR request beyond 40 days Hello again I have sent a SAR letter to LLoyds Trustcard (credit card), which was recieved on the 23 Feb 07. I called them as I have not received my statements and they said they would be with me within 10 working days (blah, blah, blah). I then called the Financial Services Ombudsmen and made a complaint regarding this, I have received a copy of the letter they have sent to Lloyds. Whilst speaking to them I asked if any action would be taken against them as they have clearly broken the 40 day timescale, they replied with 'LTSB are inundated with SAR requests at the moment and the FSO are told they are doing all they can to eliminate the problem'. I asked 'If they (LTSB) do not have the man power to deal with the situation is this not where the FSO should step in and investigate the matter further' FSO replied 'Only if this is continuous and customers have not had a response within 8 weeks of LTSB receiving the FSO complaint on the customers behalf'. Conclusion...will not be asking FSO for any further help once statements received.... My question today is I have 2 accts with LTSB bank and 1 LTSB credit card. The LBA is nearly up with the bank and as above I am awaiting statements from LTSB credit card. I know from reading this forum that I will be dragging 'the dark horse' through the courts, .......NEARLY TO THE POINT....will I be able to file all 3 accts together at MCOL. Any advice.....
