Hi Guys After reading through this forum and also related threads on money expert I have written my first letter requesting my bank charges back from Abbey for the past 6 years, which I shall post tomorrow. This is a joint account, which my partner and I no longer use, however the account is on an "overdraft powerdown" which means the overdraft we have on it is reduced monthly in our case by £100 a month. We will be claiming charges which total £621 and also including interest to this so the total will be £725. Our overdraft with Abbey currently stands at £900 so by the time we get the charges back it will probably just pay this off. I will be starting a journey tomorrow which I know is not going to be easy judging by other threads I have read from people dealing with the Abbey. I will keep you updated with my progress.
