I finally received a letter from the Information Commissioner basically saying that Littlewoods are allowed to put a default marker on my account. Thankfully, this runs out this year and so my credit record should be back where it was! However, I think its awful and I recommend that everyone who is subjected to this sort of treatment should do what Dave did and request cedit reference agencies remove your electronic record and only allow manual searches - they are legally required to do this if you ask....

I would have taken the cheque and then continued to request the markers are removed. When I moneyclaimed Amex - they removed everything from my credit file so theres no evidence that I even had the card - which was nice.

Ive never heard of a current account doing this - is this something new? My credit report has never had my current acct on there....

Its so irritating - noticed that I have a late payment marker becuase one tried to go out on the same day as my wages went in - for some reason the money request went before my wages - so it bounced when there were funds. I HATE all this crap
