Thank you for your help, I have read the FAQ and found it very helpful. I telephoned my bank this afternoon after noticing they have charged me 3 times for 3 direct debits coming out on the same day but they told me there is nothing I can do, and that I signed the contract and should of read the terms and conditions which explain about the charges.

Hello I'm new to posting in this site but have been reading for a while. I have only had an account with Halifax for 8 months and yesterday I was charged £30 because a bill that come out made me go over my overdraft. ( this is the first time this has happened? Is there anything I can do about this? has anyone got any advice on what I can do?
