I was reading on the 'moneysavingexpert' website last night and saw the article on mortgage exit fees.I called the RBS this morning and they are transferring £150 to my bank account!.I could get used to this.

The offer was made through their solicitors and states that in no way is it an admission of wrong doing etc.etc,purely an effort to come to an amicable agreement or some other nonsense!.I followed the template letters basically,and had got as far as preparing my court bundle!

I'm pretty illiterate when it comes to computers,threfore the lack of history.Sorry but hope this is still of benefit to some who might be worried etc...

Hi,everyone,just a few lines to let you know that I got ALL my charges refunded today.It might seem a bit daunting but stick to your guns and they WILL pay,I was very nervous about taking a bank to court but it has proved worthwhile! (by the way they waited untill three weeks before the court date to pay!).But as they say,'he who laughs last......£600,just in time for the easter break YIPEE!.IN YOUR FACE LLOYDS.
