  4. Woo hoo! Had my letter from HSBC this morning offering a final settlement. Even though I knew it would happen I'm still well chuffed! With the confidentiality aspect if I cross it out and sign will that be sufficient?
  5. Thanks for the above, I finally managed to do it, will remember the copying and pasting next time. I did try looking at the 'help' but couldnt find anything. Anyway.. Woo Hoo!! had a letter from HSBC this morning offering to settle for £661.84!!! Even though I knew it would happen I'm a very happy bunny this morning! I assume with the confidentiality thing, if I cross out that part of the letter and sign that will be sufficient?
  6. This is really driving me mad, every time I submit the characters and lines go onto 24 lines though its definitely under required characters. I've tried putting into a textpad doc and getting rid of all spaces and returns but its still not working!
  7. I'm just completing my moneyclaim form. It's under 1080 characters, fits on 24 lines and doesnt contain any Anyone any ideas why it's not letting me submit?
  8. Many Thanks I think I will do it online and send on copies of the schedule of charges as suggested. Cheers
  9. Hi guys, Right I'm about to do my moneyclaim form but was just wondering if people think t's better to do a manual claim as you are allowed more space for the particulars. If I do it manually can i fill in the form and get someone else to drop it at the county court or do I need to be present? If I do it online do I need to add a schedule of charges? elsewhere on the forum people have said it's not necessary but I didnt include this in my original letters to HSBC, I just included a total amount of charges as per the template? Any advice gratefully received. Also seminole i
  10. The oldest ones are from about 5 years ago. The latest from one or two years ago.
  11. I used the spreadsheet on this site but i now think this might have been wrong? But my main concern is whether I should accetp what they've offered me or just carry on?
  12. Ok here's the latest, if someone could give advice on what to do next that would be great. HSBC have offered me £376 against the £444.50 I asked for. Obviously i want the whole lot back but do I accept this and then continue with my claim? The letter they've sent requires me to sign a form accepting the sum in full and final settlement of the claim. Is it worth giving them a ring and just asking for the rest of it back now I have someone dealing with it? Also in my letter I stated this: I calculate that you have taken £444.50 plus £123.72 which you have charged me in overdr
  13. It was sent by registered post so getting lost shouldnt be an issue. I'll just have to see what happens Monday - if not put my claim in!
  14. Hi, Thought I fill you in on my claim so far. I sent a letter to HSBC on 6 March by registered post requesting a refund of £568.22 of charges. I have yet to receive any correspondence from them and while slightly scared am ready to take them on come next Monday! Any thoughts as to why I haven't receive anything so far? A friend sent a letter to HSBC on the same day and has had a letter (saying no unfortunately!)
