  1. Hi superward, Sounds like we are both at about the same stage, I sent my prelim letter local brach registered post on 8th March ( but some others say send direct to Edinburgh) up to you really.Like you I didnt realise how much I had paid them over the last 5 years until I added it up (couldnt believe it was £3375 without any interest added. I will follow your thread see how you are getting on.

  2. To add to previous I have claimed the basic ie charges for Unpaid items, referral charges and card misuses. I not mentioned interest charges in the schedule and deleted the interest amount reference in the template letter. So now its a case of wait and see, but I will update on the progress as it happens.

  3. Advice please !!! I sent my SAR with tenner to my branch on Monday 5th but have since found all my statements compiled a schedule of charges (using template) and PRL. Should I wait for bank to reply to SAR or send the PRL off now before they reply to SAR. ANy suggestions would be welcome.

  4. Hi- New to this but Mon 5th sent off request for details of charges with tenner. Since then I have found all my bank statements at home and compiled a schedule of charges. Should I wait on the banks reply or just send in Prelim letter NOW. Also any advice on whether I send it recorded to local branch or to Head Office. any replies would be appreciated. Thanks.

  5. Hi im just starting out claiming £3375 from the RBOS in charges from 2002-2007. Because of the difference in Scottish Proceedure ie £750 limit. Should my first claim to the bank be for refund be of the full amount ?

If it goes all the way to court action will I have to make separate claims for each £750 up to the full amount.
