  1. Thank you sooooo much! For the reassurance, support and guidance, it really has helped ease the worry. Also for the letter, that's great thank you. I will write the letter's tomorrow but like you have suggested, wait until I hear from MCOL with the issue service date before dating and sending letter to bank. Will keep you updated, as I go! Best wishes Tracy
  2. That's brilliant, thank you! It all makes sense but brain feels like it's on info overload and guess it will become clearer, the further into the process I get. I think I've seen a template for the letter to MCOL but not sure if there's a template to use, to advise bank of claim number and schedule etc. Will go and check the site for info. (Am glad it's Sunday tomorrow, an extra day to get it right) Once again, thanks, it really is appreciated when sitting here at the pc, you feel so alone and niaive taking on such an organisation for the first time.
  3. Hi everyone, like many of you here, I am in the process of trying to reclaim my bank charges from Nationwide. I've just completed the form on Moneyclaim online for charges totalling £2,619.50 plus interest at the statutory rate for £631.48 I have a question which is bugging me and cant seem to find the answer after reading many threads here...(and thank you so much for allowing me to read your info) After completing the MCOL form and paying the fee, do I now have to send a schedule of charges to them, to be attached to my claim? I have sent a schedule to NWBS with the last LBA sent on 28th February 2007 but am unsure of what I should be doing now, apart from waiting? Any advice would be much appreciated. PS. I received my 'get lost' letter from Nationwide during the week, also telling me that if I cant abide by the terms and conditions, my account would be closed!
  4. Hi everyone. I've just joined this site and have found the information in this forum mind blowing. I've just recently started to reclaim my money back from Nationwide but my confidence isnt too high, although reading these posts, its changing fast. I've already had my statements back for the last six years, they came back really quickly. I've checked them for the various charges and have sent a letter today, requesting my money back including interest. (Not sure if I should've included interest at this stage, having read some of these posts) My claim is for £3,270.88 inclusive of interest at the statutory rate...so wish me luck. Any advice is very much appreciated.
  5. Just joined the site today and have found your posts very helpful. I'm relieved to see that I'm not the only one involved with Nationwide. I've just sent my letter requesting money back of £3k plus, so I'm interested to see what happens next. Also not that confident in going further after this, so any help/advice is much appreciated.
  6. Hi, I'm new here too today and like you, have experienced huge amounts of debt relating to my Nationwide account. I've just sent my letter off asking for my money back, so I'm in for the long haul now. Welcome to this site, I'm sure it's going to be very beneficial to both of us. Keep smiling
