  1. Dear Karnevil, Thanks for your reply, This is a civil case which I am about to attend, but I would prefer to put my question on a piece of paper for the district judge to read out, since I am no advocate. It's just a thought really, and I wondered what the situation would be. Are the other side supposed to give me back my exhibits at the end of the case ? This is nothing to do with the actions I am working on against Capital One and Aqua. Apparently, Aqua appear to be part of the Halifax group, I didn't know this. There is a lot in Civil procedure books which is enlightening, but they do not answer questions which appear to be obvious. I am posting my requests for Statements tomorrow, I wonder how long that will take. I read today that one company is asking over £40 in order to send out statements. Do they really think we are that thick ? Thanks once again, Pantyvest
  2. Dear Bitingback, Thanks for your reply, Your help is very much appreciated Best Wishes Pantyvest
  3. Dear Bitingback, Thanks for the added info. It's early days yet and I am trying to get my head around it, so every comment helps. I have a seperate problem with regard to a pending court case which is purely civil lit. I want to keep this thread open for the issue surrounding the Credit Cards and since I am new to the site I was wondering if someone could direct me to a thread on "talking and asking questions via a district judge ? sounds insane, but I really need some info. Many Thanks, Pantyvest

  5. Hiya everyone, Last year (2006) I paid off three credit cards for my daughter. She was told by the companies that she could no longer use the cards since she owed them so much, but they were still chasing her via debt collectors for their money. I don't have that much info to go on, but I have one statement which shows a charge. The companies in question are Aqua, Capital One and HSBC mastercard. My problem is that the debts have now been paid and they could say to me that they have destroyed all the records. I am convinced that over the years she has paid a lot in charges. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks, Pantyvest
