  5. Hi, just preparing my court bundle and have printed the early day motion off and also the OFT statement summery. On the page of the OFT summery there are two more weblinks, do I need to print these off aswell or is it just the page that the OFT link gets you to. I.e do i need to print theese Download Calculating fair default charges in credit card contracts (203 kb). Download guide for consumers (64 kb). as the OFT statement summery or is this the whole statement?? cheers. dan.......
  6. this is exactly what happens, although you often cannot get proof of delivery on individual items they are on a list which is signed for with one signiture for the lot. I would always send by recorded delivery though as anything sent through the normal post will be deemed as not received by the banks....
  7. hi jsd, i would send all letters recorded delivery, it costs £1, if the banks get these letters from us through the normal system a lot of them are simply treated as not received,,, dan..........
  8. i have sent 3 letters by recrded delivery to lloyds and have got signitures for 2 which is a good return.... apparently when they deliver a sack lad of recorded mail to the same address they have a list with all the reference numbers on it and just sign for the top one. this is fine by me as it would waste everybodies time to have to stand there with the postman and sign 200 letters a day as received. having said this, if this is the short cut they take they should still have a way to proove delivery by providing a copy of the list with your reference no. onit. so basicly the post office are charging for a service they cannot always fulfill..........the cheeky ba$tard$.....
  9. it really depends what information you asked for in your SAR. I know of some people who have had back a gobbldygook list of codes that no one but the bank can fully understand. be explicit in your request for info and ensure you ask for any codes to be explained to you so you can read the data...! pip pip........
  10. Filed a claim at the canterbury county court this morning....just a few months now....
  11. cheers mattyb....do you know this for sure..? anyone confirm that i can do what i mentioned in the OP?
  12. This has also happened to me today but i have already printed mine. What we need to do is find someone who has lloyds internet banking and has not started any dialgue with the bank regarding charges and SAR's etc. as it says online it is an error and i would think it would be fixed as online statements are a big part of online banking. Is this a general error or are those claiming back charges are being targeted.....??? choo choo........ dan..........
