  1. Hi all and thanks for looking!! Just wanted to ask anyones advice. I have a default with O2 for £105 it was defaulted about 2 years ago maybe a little more. I still have an account with them which i pay on time all the time. I was gonna send them a letter asking if they would kindly remove it for me as it was fully paid a while back. It is the only thing that is bad on my credit file and affecting me getting some credit. I am going to be looking for a house soon and are worried. I just wanted to ask if anyone has done this and if poss would anyone help with the wording of it or a template??? Many thanks all/any help would be much appreciated!!! Marcus
  2. Cheers hedgey once again! Just 1 last question...... Do you know if i'll loose money if they turn around and say sorry but you can't do that in light of what is happening?
  3. Yeah i was just about to file my n1 probably monday. The last response i had from them was a letter dated 2nd july saying they have 6-7 weeks to respond to my claim. I presume they meant 6-7 weeks from my l.b.a. So you still think i should file my n1? Will i loose money though?
  4. Right reeeeeeeeeeeeeeally confused on what to do now?? As you all probably know the banks are taking it to the high court. But where does that leave me now???? Do i still carry on??? Or is that it??? Some guidance would be appreciated
  5. Cheers again hedgey! Glad about that cause didn't facny going through the hassle of sending them another letter
  6. Hey guys still waiting for them to get back to me........... Am probably going to file a claim at court in the next couple of days as i have heard nothing else from them. When filing a claim at court i have noticed i have added 2 charges that were refunded at the time and about 2 advantage gold charges on there. These need to be taken off. Would i need to inform them of these and tell them I'm taking then off or would i just be able to file my claim at court with the new amount ie. minus the wrong charges?? Cheers guys!
  7. Hi again guy's Just updating on my problem. Just got in contact with O2 and told them of my situation. Asked them nicely if as my account with them now is all up to date and have never missed a payment with them. Would they be so kind as to possibly have the default removed from my credit file. I stated that the default was for a small sum of 105 pounds. But the lady i spoke with even though she was very polite said that they could not remove it..... The only thing they could do was update it which they have done in the past as satisfied and that the only way they could do such a thing is if it was wrong in any way. Feeling a bit stuck now If any one could give me some advise i would be much appreciated Many thanks....

  9. Hi guys first of all thanks for looking at my thread...... Just some advise on what to do really. I recently got turned down for a normal bank account! and I'm putting it down to my credit history and not my partners. I have got some defaults on my credit report 2 of which will come off in the next 6 months or so as it would have been 6 years since the default date. So I'm not to bothered about them really as i won't be applying for a mortgage till around then. Right now i have another 1 which was defaulted around the start of 2006 with o2. It is now settled... The total sum was £105! As i said i would like to get a mortgage soon with my partner and if possible may try and get this one removed some how. I currently have a mobile phone with o2 and have been paying it off on time for the past couple of years and not missed any payments at all. It is obviously not the same account as the defaulted one. Now i don't really want to get heavy handed with o2 regarding this as they might close my current phone account down...... So any advice on what to do would but hugely appreciated. Like i said the default is now fully paid and it does state satisfied next to the account on my credit report Any help or advice pleeeaaaassseeeee........ . Ps. Sorry for the long winded story :|

  11. Hi guys I'm still stuck on what to do................ If you look back in the thread you can see i emailed natwest. They then sent me a reply saying they have 56 days to reply. The deadline for the LBA runs out tomorrow and I'm not sure weather to wait a while or just file for court..... I know it's my claim and my choice but I'm thinking its just a way to stall as 56 days would be on the 2nd of august!!! Just wondering what everyone else would do and there opinions??? Cheers guys
  12. Oh yeah another question.... How long does it normally take for the court proccess??
  13. Ok well I'll probably have a little think about this one then. Although i probably reckon there just trying to stall. But I've got a couple of days before i can do anything any way. Thanks again hedgey!
  14. Hi guys some advise is needed. The deadline for the LBA is up this coming Wednesday 4th July. I recently sent out an email last Thursday to Stuart higley at natwest customer relations saying that i was unhappy with the fact I'd not received any reply from them regarding the letters i sent to them. I received an email back from him only a few hours ago saying: Dear Mr Kelly Thank you for your e-mail, although I apologise for the delay in our response. I am sorry to learn that you have not had a response regarding your charges concern. This is due to an increase in volumes at the moment. We are trying to deal with these claims as quickly and we hope you can bear with us for a while longer. However we have 56 days to respond to your letter which was received on 7 June. Regards. Angela Bose-Sinden [email protected] Why are they saying they have 56 days to reply. Do i just proceed with the court process as i would have normally if i still have not heard from them by Wednesday??? Any advise would be much appreciated Cheers
