  1. Help required please! I am at the stage of preparing court submissions. I have involved a solicitor and I am claiming £5040 plus interest.. My concern is that the particulars of the claim, refer to section 69 of the county courts act. I live in Scotland and I am pursuing the Bank of Scotland at their Rosyth address. This is a business acount as a sole trader. Are there any precedent's set? I really want to nail the bugg*** Any advice would be extremely helpful. Thanks
  2. I run a business account with the Bank of Scotland and I am ready to submit papers to the local Sherriff Court, but I would just like to be sure i am 100% correct. The bank of Scotland are stating that claims are being dealt with under "The Unfair Terms of Consumer Contracts Act, which does not apply to business customers" can anyone tell me if this is correct? Sounds rather odd to me as I would have assumed that anyone who pays for a service is entitled to receive that service regardless of whether they are a business customer or not. any advice would be welcome. Thanks
  3. hello, this is my first post to the forum. I am trying to find out if there is a difference between Business accounts and ordinary accounts when trying to reclaim charges? Bank of Scotland are saying there is. Can anyone advise Thanks
