  1. Well done TH - you did it!!! I hope they don't take too long to send in the money. Enjoy spending !!!
  2. Well done Lotte, I'm so pleased for you. I hope you'll be really happy in your new home and I bet the money has come at a great time. You are an inspiration to me. If you can continue with all of that you had going on, then I can get some confidence to go for MCOL. Well done and enjoy Toni
  3. Hi ZachTB, Well done and fingers crossed for you that they don't drag it out for too long. I am dissapointed in myself that I didn't follow the timelines like you did 'cos we were about on the same timescales. I'm detemined to stick with it - they have a lot of my money !!! I will keep an eye on your thread and once again, best of luck x Toni
  4. Hi All, Apart from being busy at both my jobs (day&night/weekend!!) I have put off doing the MCOL/N1 as I had lost my bottle. I'm not afraid to say that I'm terrified of the one that has to go to court :o I know this is silly as no-one has had to do it - so I have to get back on it. They owe me loads of money!!!! I finish my day job for the summer tomorrow so the first thing I am going to do is pick this back up again and go for all the others too to get as far as I can before September when it all gets manic again!! Your support is great guys!!! :)
  5. Anyone?!?!? I have looked at the templates to see if there is a letter saying something on the lines of.....'pay up within x days or I will add another grand interest plus court charges etc....' but couldn't find one. Has anyone got a letter like this, I'm sure I've seen one on a thread somewhere??!!
  6. Hi, my claim is a little over £3.5k and I too have had no offer at all following the LBA. I should now be doing MCOL, but need to save a few ££££'s before I can do it. I don't bank with them anymore so am wondering if this has any reflection on the tactics. What about you?
  7. Well guys, nothing from FD so far. Not even a measly offer Now I guess that I have to do the MCOL or N1 which looks a bit of a nightmare from others' comments. I have looked at the templates to see if there is a letter saying something on the lines of.....'pay up within x days or I will add another grand interest plus court charges etc....' but couldn't find one. Has anyone got a letter like this, I'm sure I've seen one on a thread somewhere??!! How much does the MCOL/N1 cost and do you have to pay straight away? If so it may have to wait a little while Thanks for all your support so far
  8. Thanks for your replies guys. Gowd!! Was hoping for this to be easy. Am also claiming back from First Direct and Barclaycard. I think that FD might be a little easier but I am claiming a large amount from them (£3.5k) and dont get me started on B/C.!!! They dont even send out the statements. I guess it must be worth it in the end

    Lulan7 v FD

Mine is not quite that much £3.5k but I think they take longer for higher amounts and dont make early offers. Keep posting updates though - good luck
  10. Lets see what they say to your LBA, best of luck. I received a letter today from FD saying that FD do not agree with my contention that the charges are unlawful and then went onto spout the T's & C's. They then say that are unable to agree to my request and if I wish to escalate I can write to Robert Kernaghan, Customer Relations Manager. I think that this is a standard letter, has anyone else had this one? It maybe that they have not made an offer as its over £3.5k. What do you all think?
  11. Best of luck with that MH Well I sent off the LBA on Wednesday 18/4 albeit a couple of days late as I've been dead busy with work. Fingers crossed for a result!!!!
  12. :o Here goes!!!!! :o My Prelim goes out tomorrow for £835 - not a huge amount I know, but 'tis mine!!! Do Lloyds tend to go all the way for this low amount?
  13. I know what you mean, I've been trying to get statements from b/card, what a nightmare!!!! From reading others, I think they are the worst!!!
  14. Eeek, LBA due to be sent now. Will prepare later today and send on Monday recorded. Kitty received an offer yesterday and sent her prelim after me!!!!:-? How about you Madhouse, any news yet?
  15. Oh wow, they replied to you before me and your Prelim was sent a couple of days later!!! It must be because you are claiming less than me. What are you going to do, hold out for the full amount?
