  1. Hello there hope all is well. as the title shows I am wondering ifthis is possible. my friend has been moved onto the pension credit for couples as was on JSA but their partner is receiving their pension for over a year now so some adviser at the jobcentre pointed out would e better off on that and should have moved onto a year ago ! would they be able to claim for backdating and how would they do it ? cheers all
  2. I would challenge your gp, if your not happy ask for a second opinion from another in your practice. You could still appeal with your dla while your gathering evidence from your gp, do you see a physio? anyone who is involved in your healthcare you may need a statement from. If you gather all this info asap you will be ready for an urgent appeal. Saying that i went on wednesday for my tribunal, my gp had put moderate for my walking and i still won higher rate for both care and mobility.
  3. I have lung disease, yesterday i won my appeal for higher rate mobility and care. Maybe i could help you make a claim?
  4. Nice one, i dont think thats ungrateful i think it shows you really need it. Im pleased for you love.
  5. Thanks, im new to cagg but didnt want people missing out
  6. I think its under around 220 per week or around that mark
  7. The house hold as a whole has to qualify, some energy suppliers will allow tax credit claimants to apply as long as as a whole its a low income.
  8. Right i have just enquired. this is what you need to do,ring 0800 051 0760 ask to apply for the warm home discount. If you qualify they send you vouchers for you to take to the shop and use to top up your fuel.
  9. Maybe you could try phoning your provider and asked to be put through, they ask a range of questions basically making sure you qualify. I have told many people about it and alot have got it, just to be on the safe side though i would ring them. If you dont ask you may not get.
