  1. Thanks everyone for the support. how do i change the title to **WON**?
  2. I won!!!!! Yippeeeee!! :) Full claim settled £425.67, started on 05.03.07 and cheque received for the full amount on 15.05.07 (1 day before Judgment can be issued). Can a mod move this to the winning posts section, Thanks to every one for your help and thanks to all who have created this forum. Now the question is do I start a new claim for the charges i have incurred since my last claim????
  3. Update: Still no word from Nasty West about my case, no evidence submitted, no AQ been sent to me, they have until Wednesday next week to submit their evidence other wise I’ll be filing judgment. I bet they will do it on the last day.....Will be back then to update.
  4. Thanks Lisa, i just have to put the rejection letter in the post now.
  5. Don’t worry to much, if you're talking about your Prelim letter, they didn’t acknowledge anything until i started my court claim and today i received my first letter from them since i started 2 months ago.
  6. Ok Folks, I filed my court claim on April 13th, today I received a partial offer and it works out to about 61% of my full claim. I'm a bit annoyed about it because my claim is not a huge amount but they still only offered me a smaller amount which also does not include the £50 that I paid for filing the court claim. Can any one advise me what I should do? Is 61% a good amount? Or should I write back asking for the court fee money as well? Or should I go for the full lot. I'm really not happy with this offer but I don’t want to cause myself any more problems. I'm also a little worried because in the letter they sent me they said if I was unwilling to accept these charges on my account that they would close it for a 'simple account'. Does this mean that I'm never gonna be able to make another claim if I accept this offer? Any advice would be helpful, thanks
  7. Hi, i'm at the stage now where i'm fileing a court claim because Natwest have been rude enough to not even answer any of the first letters. i was wondering if i can now claim for the extra charges to my account since i started this process, as i have been charged a load more since the original perlim letter. has any one else done this?? thanks in advance.
  8. Hi there, Just realized my old dear has posted my prilm letter the other day with out sending it recorded delivery, does this mean my claim will just be denied by Natwest, saying that they never received it?? will i need to send it again?? or should i just wait??? I don’t want to wait weeks down the line and find out that they said they denied all knowledge of ever receiving it. Is it too early to panic or has anyone else messed up like this but still got a positive result?
  9. Thanks for the advice, i have sent it off with out the interest, so shall see what happens, thanks!!
  10. Thanks, but the £101 is the total interest i have paid over the last 5 years, how do i work out the proportion of the interest that is because of the £271 of charges? Do i use one of the spread sheets???
  11. ok so i only have £271 of charges (not much compared to some but still something) i have £101.36 in interest charged for the overdraft, over the last 5 years, now do i add this to the prelim letter??....anyone have a answer (anyone else done the same?) or am i going to mess the claim up if i include the interest charged for my overdraft???
  12. Hey all, so i'm totally confused about the whole interest charges thing....there are a lot of conflicting messages. In the FAQ it says don’t apply for interest charges in the prelim letter, yet in the prelim letter it says; "I calculate that you have taken £XXXXX plus £XXX which you have charged me in overdraft interest for the sum which you have taken." So what do i do? I have on my statement loads of interest deductions every month for money ranging from 40p up to £23, these charges are all due to having an overdraft, i understand that you cant ask for the money at this stage for interest i would have received for not having the money in my account to date, i think??.but can i claim for interest taken for going into my overdraft?? .......CONFUSED or is it just me??? anyone out there that can help please???
