  1. after receiving a letter dated monday 2nd July, i today phone the solicitors as the money had yet not been transferred into my account when advised this takes up to 5 working days. i gave the solicitors my reference number in which they said they could not find my file!!!! i confirmed what was said on the letter in which they knew nothing of and said they would get someone to call me back. no one called so i again rung them this time to be told that the money can take up to 14 days!! i have a letter to prove it takes 5 working days. luckily i have not yet cancelled my court date which is due on wednesday. now the solicitors are not open till Monday so i cannot speak to them until then. has anyone any further ideas?? i am so sick and tired of banks!!! thanks to all
  2. Hi I have today received a letter from Lloyds solicitors advising my full claim plus interest and court fees will be refunded into my bank within 5 working days. The total amount I received is £6144. To get this i had to send the 2 letters. They started by offering £750 and put that amount in my account. I refused and raise a claim online, I was due in court next Wednesday. I sent my bundle and was fully prepared to go to court. It has take since last October to now for the whole process to complete and for me to win. My advice to anyone is don't give up because you will beat the bastards in the end. Also if you raise a claim online make sure to treat it as if you were going to court, prepare your case fully. Good luck to all

    Re: Help!!

i have filed my claim against LloydsTSB and have a court date on July 11th 2007 at 2pm. i am claiming for just over £5500 with interest over £6000. i sent the 1st letter which they refused and the 2nd letter which they offered me £750 as a good will gesture. i sent a 3rd letter requesting for this tpo be removed also followed up with a phone call in which case they advised me that i need not orry about the money as if they do settle for the full amount this would be automatically taken off. i have sent all my evidence to court 2 weeks prior to my court date and have not yet heard anything from Lloyds offering any further offer. I am concerned that when i do go to court what do i say when in front of the judge regarding my claim? also if i do lose to Lloyds how much estimated court costs will i have to pay them? any help would be much much appreciated? is it worth stopping this? thanks
