  1. Hi Noisy I would just fill out the LBA about failure to provide information. You can find it at http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/6986-data-protection-act-non.html
  2. So if they do try and reposses my car all i need to do is ask for the deed of exectution that followed the CCJ, if they can't produce these then they can't take it, right?
  3. Cool, well done. Yet another success story!
  4. So to clarify what day did you actually file on MCOL? Did A & L acknowledge it? Sorry it just isn't clear above. Matt
  5. Hi Winnie Just a thought, you know A & L account numbers are a bit odd, i.e you add numbers when quoting DD info etc then remove at other times etc, you did quote the right number didn't you? If you look about you'll see i used to work for them and this did confuse things for me at times, although it sounds like someone was being lazy as you requested SAR so they should be pumping your name into the computer and not just your account number!
  6. Hiya Horsemad mentioned the thing about loans4logbooks.co.uk, i have one of these and yes they did take the original log book, MOT & ins document. Does that mean they can legally take possesion of my car? Matt
  7. Crickey, doesn't it take ages waiting? Still nothing from them. I see from other thread that some people phone up tommy or sue and get offers of settlements over the phone, is that worth a go at this early stage?
  8. It may be worth giving them a call and telling them your finger is hovering over the Judgement button on the MCOL site. Explain that they will be required to pay it what ever and you are prepared to go all the way. At least if they still say no they can listen to the sound of your clicking on the judgement button!!!!
  9. Well i'm lucky as i left a few yrs ago so no recourse now! As for HBOS STAFF MEMBER, perhaps one of the Mods could approach them and stick them on the CAG payroll, it's great to have an insider!!!!! Any more tips HBOS STAFF MEMBER?????
  10. Trouble is if they are anything like A & L they won't pay your salary into any other account other than a HBoS account. They stitch you up big time as they can then monitor your account in as much detail as they like and all your colleagues can have a good look when ever they fancy too!
  11. Yeah no prob but i'm the car, Noclue wanted to be the Top hat so that leaves you with either the dog or the Boot! And don't forget to pick up the community chest card stating "Bank error in your favour!!!!!" LOL Matt
  12. Hiya I used to work for A & L a few yrs ago and am only just reclaiming back the charges, see my thread matt-man v A & L. I can remember having a missed DD and getting charged when i worked for them, a week later my area sales manager had me in the office asking for full details as to why it happened and hat action i was taking etc etc. At the time i was incredibly embarrassed but now it makes my blood boil thinking about it. How dare they link work life and your banking problems, especially as they force you to open an account when you work for them!!! Go get them! Matt
  13. No probs, we're pretty at the same stage anyway but i've spent bloody hrs reading through diff threads. My thread is A long long time ago Race you to the finish line! Matt
  14. Well worth a go, lost count on how many times i got charged and how many times they "reserve the right to vary their terms and conditions and charges" I could even write on the T & C's that i deem my charges to be fair and competitive in comparison to charges other ORGANISATIONS charge!!!! LOL
  15. LOL, not quite yet!!! Mind you i still know the manager of my local branch from when i used to work there. Have decided upon £25 per letter but being a resonable type of man i won't charge them for the prem letter! I can break this amount down to be seen as a reasonable fee quite easily if i have to by any judge. Now if it has to go as far as filing a N1 or MCOL then it will have to be £200.
  16. Hi They only have 14 days to reply from the prem letter, have you just sent off the SAR or Prem letter? It's 40 days for the SAR. Matt
  17. Cheers for that, i had a good read. My thinking is that as long as i can justify that my fees are in true representation of the costs then i have a case. It's not like my letters will be the same standard bog off letter they send out, mine will be thought about and personalised. Time is money! Anyway i'm going to draw up some terms and conditions of my claim and fees associated. Nothing to lose as the closed the account last year! I'll post on here my T & C's.
  18. Well now you have done your crayon work it's time to start the real fun!!!
  19. Mind you, fee of £39 for a letter 0.50p envelope and paper charge £1 postal charge £5 petrol and parking costs to drive to post office £32.50 time spent on letter at £16.25 per hour Would the judge deem that fair charges?!?
  20. That would be great, a schedule of charges that accompany my prem letter. But hang on a sec, does that mean they could then sue me for unfair and excessive charges in return?
  21. That would be good yeah, i have the one templated on here so if yours is better cool. So if the DRA can't produce a CCA is that it then? Debt wiped off?
  22. Hi Mr Mag, Try this http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/bank-templates-library/2004-free-alternative-excel.html Matt
