  1. Sorry Lula for the spelling.
  2. Thank you Lulu for your reply I have phoned Abbey regarding this payment and they say it is a goodwill gesture. Iam no unsure of spending any of this money as I am afraid if I do it will spoil any judgement by the court.
  3. I have put the paper for court action in, the court has sent Abbey the summons etc. Today Abbey have paid £545.00 into my account without my knowledge ie no correspondance from them to me. Can someone please advice me on what to do as this amount is no where near the orignal claim of £4436.97. I have no signed any papers from Abbey saying that I accept this amount.I am very angree at this amount. Thanks.
  4. Thank you I am going to stick to my original times I have followed the templates on this site and will continue to follow it next step court.
  5. Thank you for taking the time to reply its very much appreciated:)
  6. Can anyone help me regarding time scales> I sent Abbey a letter detailing all charges etc on 18th April then on the 8th May I sent a final letter giving them 14 days before I would comence with court papers. Today I telephoned Abbey to ask if they were any futher on to be told that the law says they have 8 weeks to reply to me can anyone help as I was going to put in court papers on Monday as the 14 days I had given them is up on Friday 25th. Thanks:)
  7. Update on my first letter to Abbey.1st letter sent on 26th feb, reply from abbey dated 8th march saying that rest of statements (microfiche) will be sent on. To date nothing but the first 14 months statements came within the first 14 days. I have calculated that the 40 days are up today (But I have counted weekends?) is it time to send a reminder? Also I cannot get any more statements from the internet banking. They are still charging me and I have repeatedly phoned them, my disability goes in 4 weekly and they continue to take the charges out (on the same day) before they credit my money into my account so it continues over to the following month and the same thing happens again. I have now opened a new bank account and am waiting for the change over to take place between the benefit office and the new bank. All help is very much appreciated.
  8. Firstly may I apologise for posting on someonelse post. I sent the first letter to Abbey enclosing the £10 and I received a letter back acknowledging the £10 and telling me that arrangements have been made for the information to be sent to me. Information covering the last fourteen months will be sent as duplicate statements. Previous transactions are on microfiche and is not possible to provide computer printouts however arrangements have been made to send a list of archived transactions between 2001 and 2005. To date I have received the statements for the last 14 months. I am now awaiting the archived transactions.
  9. I have also had the same letter today.Firstly they acknowledged receipt of the £10 then came a part saying information covering the last fourteen months would be sent out in statement form within 5-7 days. Then they go on to say that any previous transactions are on microfiche and it is not possible to provide me with a print out of this information. However thay go on to say they will make arrangements to send a list of archived transactions between 2001 and 2005.Would someone be kind enough to point me in the right direction now please.
  10. I would just like to say hello to everyone and ask you to bear with me as I have a lot of reading to do. My problem is with Abbey and the enormous charges they have been applying and the mistakes that I have found but I wonder how many I have missed. sandiebabe46
