    Pc Rip Off

My niece bought a toshiba laptop on Saturday from Comet. On the advice that as it was a present, if the other party did not like it, it could be returned and a full refund or swap given. The shop assistant opened the seal, and showed her the laptop. When I went to the store to speak to the manager. He said that they do not need to provide infromation or show the custome the disclaimer that once a seal has been opened, it cannot eb given a full refund. They wanted to charge 105 of the total to take it back as returend goods. Surely there must be a way under trade descriptions act, trading standards misselling a product. He offered a gift voucher, but she took the pc and I took pics of the disclaimer and location:-x
  2. Hi I was a member of Natwest till last year. Since missing a £9 direct debit payment. I actually paid it the next day. They have refused to drop any charges to my account, or close it. They have so far laid £28 charges monthly totalling now £258. They will not agree for me to pay a minimum, as I am now unemployed. They are ridiculous. I contacted the personal lending unit in Bristol, and the team in Nottingham. Please help
  3. Hi there I had a £300 preferred in credit overdraft facility on my current account. I only went over by £8 pounds last year. Since losing my job in December and now I have one. Abbey refused to waive the fee and it has now been charging me and taking my overdraft away from me to the tune of £458. I rang them to discuss this with their collection dept. They told me that I need to pay £15 per week, or be defaulted. Please help... Hi there I had a £300 preferred in credit overdraft facility on my current account. 8. Your input has been noted Not much help needed! I received a reply from T -Mobile Oh and WHAT A RESULT! I GOT WHAT I WANTED!!!
  9. I have emailed T= Mobile, Trading Standards and Consumer Direct PLEASE HELP 13th June 2007 1pm Upgraded phone from T-Mobile shop No advise was given regarding terms and conditions, no tariff/price plan or charges advise. I have been charged £20 for the monthly line rental. Not received the full allocation of my £60 allowance. I called T-Mobile customer services, on 20th June. Within the 7 day cooling off period to revert back to my old evenings and weekend plan. They refused to put me through to a supervisor, refused me a courtesy callback. Was rude to me. Had no knowledge of company SLA's products. I received a text saying I had 42 pence left credit, when I should have had £1.67 left deducted from £30 call credit. £20 - £18.33 + £16.37. I revisted a T Mobile branch. The systems said I had arrears. Which is incorrect. Bills are paid on time monthly. You have breached your contract with me, under the Consumer Credit Act 1974. My consumer rights have bene affected, NO customer satisfaction. I would like my old price plan of free evenings and weekend calls back. If not, I will contact the DTI, Trading Standards, and various Consumer action groups.
  10. the judge stated that they will write an order for abbey to remove all default entries against me
  11. I saw a completely different judge A deputy district judge sat at the hearing. Very nice Abbey did not show. I sat at the hearing with the judge. They sent a letter to the court (not to me) that they settled the case with me. I argued that the settlement offer was rejected by me, (letters attached)within the bundle presented to the judge. I argued my case that I delivered to the court, my bundle as ordered. I claimed full costs for my court applications. The judge wrote out that they intend to write to Abbey to have them pay the remainder of costs, and to remove all defaults entries against me on the credit register from all data controllers. They handed me my bundle back
  12. I am attending my hearing tomorrow. Abbey still have not defended their claim to me in writing not supplied me with their court defence bundle. The court have changed the judge to sit at my hearing The court clerk have told me that I do not need to have the Abbey defence struck out due to non compliance or orders to submit defence bundle. I will have the supposed N244 hearing at the same time as my full hearing I am very confused
  13. Abbey still have not sent me their defence They sent me a plain reply to my s10 and rejection of offer letters, plus my demand they remove the default i have submitted my schedule of costs
  14. Hi, thanks for all your help I have already submitted the schedule of costs with my bundle I am submitting a further schedule of costs for photocopying & printing to th court today.
