hello,i sent halifax the request for payment letter last tuesday and received today a letter from Michael Kerr ( Reviews Manager) saying " i am sorry you are unhappy.....blah blah" .Then he said that the charges were applied correctly to my account to cover the administration fees therefore additional work for them (yeah right! now you have extra work with all this claims )and that he was declining my complaint (complaint?????) .Now my question is do i wait for the 14 days to end ? hey still have 7 seven days left or shall i send them another letter saying that it wasn't a complaint it was a request for payment??? thanx

hi,you just received what i recieved 2 days ago, only a list of charges,after waiting for statements for 42 days !!! well,you need to send them a non-compliance letter which you will find in the templates library and give them 7 days,i sent mine already.let's see

hi,after 45 days waiting for my statements i recieved a letter today from halifax only with a list of the charges that's all they came up at £1900 .can they just send me this? if so how do i claim the interest? any help really wellcome

hi,the same happened to me,they cashed my cheque more than 3 weeks ago but still no statements,the 40th day was last saturday,i sent them the non-compliance letter already and it is 40 calendar days not working days,somebody told me already in this forum.i am really furious,believe me

hi,i think what sea-sidelady means is that with a phone call they can say that they never talked to you or you never requested your statements,with the SAR sent recorded delivery you have actually proof that you requested them,it doesn't mean that with the phone call you won't get them but as she said you are covered.all the best

i said 30 days but it was a typing mistake,it was received 12th of march so i think it is this saturday.thanx chris for your warning.i hope i counted right

hi,i sent the sar a month ago,it was sent recorded delivery and i know hey received it,anyway the cheque hasn't been cashed yet,no a single letter saying they recieved it and are on the way,nothing.now,i just checked my account online and guess what a letter saying that i was charged £39 for a £20 standing order that didn't go through,i continue.... it should have been enough money in the account for the standing order if the hadn't taken another £25 days before for another charge which i don't have a clue where it's coming from,believe me,no notification of the charge this time.so when it comes to charges and taken the money from you they are really fast but for my statements to arrive they are taken their own time.i'm just having enough of this,it's a snowball effect,charge after charge after chage,almost not enough money to survive.do they think about the harm they cause? not even worth answering.i'm really upset.thank you all

Hi,my Bank Is With Halifax And Although I Am Still Waiting For My Statements To Arrive I Am Helping My Boyfriend With His Against Hsbc,he Was Lucky To Get His Statements Online.the Charges Came At £1220 Without Interest,even Though I Read Thorugh The Faqs And Other Threads I Still Can't Get It.the Interest Are Diferent Every Month, £18.29,£16.23,£12,£14.85...... And The Thing Is That We Don't Know What They Are For Even The Charges Are Shown Only As "total Charges" So It Is A Bit Confusing.now,could Somebody Tell Me How I Work It Out On The Spreadsheet?
