  1. This link may help... Remove Default Notices on a Credit File - We show you how BTW can you tell me which agencies Next report to on your credit files?
  2. Just wanted to know which credit agencies does Next report to? They used to do Equifax but I read that now its Experian. Do they report to both now? Callcredit? Many thanks in advance for anyone's help here!
  3. I've got statements going back 12 years...when will the Templates be updated? Any clues...BankFodder mentioned 'days' or should I just go ahead with whats up there already?
  4. got all the statements! am ready to go, just want to clarify my position...
  5. Hi all I've been in an iva recently and just come out of it fully satisfied. HSBC were a creditor in the iva. Could I reclaim HSBC bank charges from 12 years ago up to the date the iva started 5 years ago? My question really covers the iva uncertainy and not the issue of 6+ yrs...can I still reclaim charges for a pre-iva period when effectively the bank went on to lose money with me? Could this be used as a defence? The iva is a court approved settlement and has been satisfied in full so there shouldn't be any issue I would've thought. My claim would only be covering HSBCs illegal charges (which I have only now been made aware of) :o Any clarification would be very helpful! Thanks
  6. Okay, so I was in an IVA, it got SATISFIED, experian and callcredit were great and told the world it was so...then Equifax dropped the bomb. "We only put the 'satisfied' in a Notice of Correction, we don't tell the world it was so in the Public Info Section/Court Info Section." I want my cake: the 'satisfied date' to be completed in the public section just like the other two CRAs. I want to eat it as well: their Notice of Correction to be removed in full. An NoC stops automated credit applications; this is not good. The public record sections tells any future employer/landlord etc that I've still got a debt problem when I haven't (I believe the NoCs are only seen by Equifax credit subscribers not allunsundry, but I may be wrong) I have seen a few other CAG members suffer from this Equifax ailment post-iva, is there a quick fix or do I get the ICO involved asap? Please help!

  8. Hi CrispDust Just a bit of a random email to ask if you managed to get Equifax to change your iva status to satisfied and remove the notice of correction? I am now in exactly the same situation as you were in! Callcredit and Experian are fine...just Equifax who refuse to alter it. Wondering if a county court claim or complaint to the ICO is the best route? Any help/ideas would be much appreciated, thanks.
  9. Hi All Have just read the faqs and searched in vain for a simple answer to the following... I would like to reclaim the bank charges on my HSBC current account but have a loan (with PPI!), credit cards and overdraft with them as well. I understand they ***may*** close the current account and demand the o/d gets repaid, but can they close the loan a/c and credit cards as well - or are they under separate agreements? Please help! Thank you in advance anyone
