  3. hi, no probs Beamie! well today is the 15th April... they are over the 40 days now.. i have been away for a week so i have not sent the non compliance letter yet... but i will be on the case in the morning.. have you guys recieved yours yet??
  4. hi there toots, welcome to CAG congratulations in taking your first steps to claiming back whats rightfully yours... my first advice is to read the FAQ. they have 40 days including weekends and bank holidays to comply to your requests, if they, dont send non compliance letter (see templates). i cant advise on the defaults placed on your property, but when you send in the letters prelim & LBA it does have a section requesting the defaults be removed.. im sure someone with more knowledge and experience will advise you very soon.. dont worry, help is here.. good luck and stick with it keep us posted
  5. hi endor i tend to agree with c allen, do one at a time, win one at a time.. prepare inbetween... reap rewards all the time with CAG help.. good luck and keep us all posted.. if i have been of any help please add to reputation by clicking middle icon bottom left. thank you
  6. well hello guys just to catch you up on things here, i have been away for a week. i returned home tonight to find a letter from nationwide, this was in answer to my LBA, well i thought i had gone back in time as this letter was word for word the exact same letter that i recieved after i sent my prelim. so its the court route now, but i have to wait to the end of the month now so i will have the money to do this.. but there is no way im giving up!!! i want it back ~ ALL OF IT!!!!!!!
  7. hi dokie, welcome to CAG i sent my letter to swindon and it was ok, i recieved my statements 3 weeks later.. did you send it recorded delivery? if you did (which you should always do) go on to the royal mail web and put in the 13 digit code and track your letter. you will see when and who took delivery of your letter. the following day count as your day 1 of 40. count weekends and bank holidays too! they have 40 days to comply and they know it.. good luck in your quest keep us posted ~ any questions just ask

  12. firstly hello and welcome i havnt heard of anyone being closed for asking for statements!! in fact very few are closed at all, everyone has been wrapped on the knuckles and told that they have to be good from now on.. most have opened parachute accounts, and its probably best if you do the same as well. i opened a step account at nat west, it was very easy and all they wanted was two of the following passport, driving licence, utillity bill. or the last two bank statements, which i didnt show. took about 10 mins to open account, very easy.. hope i have been of some help.
  13. glad to hear you got them, you will need to send prelim letter(templates) and also a spreadsheet that you can complete and send with your prelim. are you claiming interest? if your not you can download the simple spreadsheet that only calculates the 8%(that only gets mentioned when going to court) if you want check out my thread and you will see the millions of questions i had and the help i recieved along with the advice and spreadsheet links too. i did send the spreadsheet in and it showed the 8% as it calculates it itself. but i havent mentioned it at all as yet! i thought that it may speed them up as they can see how much interest will be added.. i know it wont make any difference ~ lori said the same too, she tried the same.. keep us posted..
  14. hi there i recieved a letter very simular to this one. after asking advice as you have i was reassured that it was a general fob off, i have sent off LBA and i am now counting down the 14 days.. so my advice to you would be keep going, dont take any notice.. send your LBA and take a step closer to getting whats rightfully yours!! good luck and keep us posted. if i have been of any help please add to my reputation by clicking on middle icon botton left ... thank you
  15. just thought i would say hi while im waiting
  16. hi there i was just reading through your thread and thought i would gently remind you ~ send all mail recorded delivery so that you can check who and when the delivery was taken by. when counting the days remember to include weekends and bank holidays too... good luck and keep us posted.. if i have been of any help please add to my reputation points by clicking middle icon bottom left.. thank you

  18. hi there yep i recieved one of those letters too! thats right if youve done the prelim letter and spread sheet ~ the next is the LBA (letter before action) and again send a copy of the spreadsheet that you sent before.. again recorded delivery, check delivery and then count down 14 days including weekends and bank holidays.. i have not long sent my LBA so theres not alot inbetween us.. keep us posted..
  19. hi lori just think how embarressed they would be if you dropped them a line pointing out the fact that they have already paid you back for taking your money from another account.. keep going ~ all power to lori!!!!
  20. hi paul glad to hear that you have sent off prelim, hopefully recorded delivery! if you did then check out the delivery on royal mail web and count down 14 days from the next day..include weekends and bank holidays too.. ive just sent my LBA so theres not alot inbetween us.. good luck and keep us posted
