  2. I went over my overdraft by 6p on Monday, transferred £30 from my Halifax account to my BoS account same day and got charged £35. How can they justify that. I would write and complain again unfortunately the last time I complained and asked for a refund, they threateded to close my account.

    Virgin Charges

I accidentally went over my limit a couple of months ago and got charged. Now every month I pay off the minimum amount on my credit card which takes me below the credit limit and every month I get a charge for going over the limit which takes me right back to where to where I started. If it wasn't for the £12 charge, i would not be over the credit limit. Can I ask the for charges back?
  4. OK, I'll take the pc back then as that was only bought 2 weeks ago!
  5. Sorry the card was £54, it is a Netgear WPN311. The PC was originally running Vista Home basic, the disc drivers were not compataible so I down loaded the drivers with Vista support as per the netgear website. After this approach failed I installed and fully patched XP pro and then attempted to reinstall the card.. guess what.. it froze and was unbootable. Oh and I tried the card in all available PCI slots... I am starting to suspect there may be a problem with the PCs PCI bus.. guess where the PC came from.. The machine is currently running with another slower network card from netgear
  6. It is installed correctly.
  7. I have nothing but problems with my local PC World. First off a set of headphones bought for gaming didn't work. Tried to take them back but no go as they work on their pcs. I swallowed that one as it was a £30 loss and experience. Now I have tried to return a network card that cost £80 and they wont take it back as, yes it works on their pcs. Surely this has not legal as its not doing what I bought it for??
  8. I have always paid my charges and never complained until I got charged £30 for being 77p over my overdraft limit for less than a day. I went into the BOS and asked for it back, they said no because I'd had other charges. I wrote a letter of complaint and they said no again and sent me brochures. I wrote again 4 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back yet. A collegue intoduced me to your site and I have since wrote another letter stating that I have just found out the charges are illegal and I have asked for the last 6 months worth of charges and if they don't give 'em back I will take t
